I don't think they would ever to this to be honest... That means that Lara's movements in cutscenes would also look different, since the voice actors do the motion capture too.

Not all the VA make the Animations Stevo because Lara's animations in Underworld where not Performed by Keeley Hawes neither her other VA's.... The Motion Capture Models are totally diferent people that perform it and almost never the VA performs the Motion Capture for more Details you can read the Credits of any of the modern games that you own (that use MC) and check the VA of the character( in the manual or the credits) and you will see that it is almost never that a VA performs the Motion capture for the character. :wve:

Well they did in Uncharted, and I thought it was confirmed somewhere that they were doing this? They said for sure that they are doing facial capture, so it would only make sense to speak the lines as they recorded the face and the body motions. I do recall somewhere reading that they did the acting while doing motion capture because they had the natural struggling sounds.

No, the VA almost never perform the Motion Capture. And tamzin & Lara definitely do not have the same height :p

The Guy that voices Nathan Drake makes his moves? i doubt it However if you referring to Facial Expressions Motion capture then the VA possibly can do that performance. Just like in the videogame L.A NOIRE but not all of the people that made the facial Motions where the VA's. It is less likely that the VA's perform the Movements Motion capture but the Facial animation captures might be done by a VA. And if your referring to the Cutscenes i think that there are Motion Capture actresses for that not the VA either :/. I do recall reading there was going to be some of motion capture in this Tomb Raider in the Game Informer January 2011 Issue but i do not know if it was movement motion capture and Facial Animations Captures or if it was they where working in her Facial Animations to make them more believable i seriously do not remember quite well. ;)

Yes, all the characters in Uncharted do their motion capture while they record their lines (for cutscenes). I saw an interview with the voice actors, and there also videos of them doing the motion capture for it :p.

That is odd, it means that Naughty Dog hired some athletic VA's :p However not many companies do this, Almost none do this for their cutscenes. The Motion Capture as we speak now when referring to the Movements done when in gameplay are not Performed by the VA's like i said it is Almost never. But if they perform the Cutscenes ones that is a big surprise for me!

Edit: Thanks for the Link. That is impressive for some VA's to actually make the cutscenes :p in TR's case if you read the game manual's credits characters are performed by someone else and not by the VA though. (TRU)

Yeah they were performed by someone else in TRU but that doesn't mean they will do that in the new game.

Nolan North did the moves for cutscenes. He said somewhere he did it in AC too as Desmond. But in AC they record the cutscene motion capture separately, the head and the bottom part separately. But TR don't copy from UC. So the story can be different here.
