In the Podcast #6 Karl said he told his wife that he will be extremely busy and will not be at home for 90days around August timeline for TR promotion. So probably they will start the promotion in June with E3! But its kinda late to start if they ship the game Fall 2012. For the record, there are Gamescom, PAX Prime, GDC Europe in August.

They still didn't announce the collectors edition elements. So how someone can pre-order the collectors edition?

But they have fixed a release window from a long time ago obviously. Like if Square Enix told them that there is a BIG event in Japan, Tokyo Game show on September 20-23 and they want to launch the game there, then CD will have to launch the game in that period of time. So why not give us at least a release schedule?

And if they are ashamed of showing Alpha-build gameplay, then why not give us some screenshots, or details about the combat, or some behind-the-scene footage? Or at least the announcement of VA & Composer?

But this promotion is insanely well detailed and planned. It's not (just) about selling, it's about introducing a new concept of a worlwide known franchise. Every tiny little detail has been planned, and they won't change their minds right now.

It that they have a plan does not automatically mean that it will operate or is totally correct...because it is about people,fans,comunity, interested about game and sale are very important for sucessful game......and bad advertising or started campain too late can be big mistake....lot of big game come on Fall and Tomb Raider can fall to the oblivion when he not would be in the public eye


...a few screenshot or polished wolf E3 demo or gameplay trailer nothing can go wrong so why is it such a big deal after 9months nothing??:confused:

It's developers only. Websites will probably have some sort of stream but I highly doubt it'll be anything on the scope of E3.

I think the luckiest we're going to get with GDC, news wise, is a few articles from a magazine... I'm not expecting a trailer.

They said their primary goal is recruiting, that is all they said.

They will be at one of either PAX East or PAX Prime behind closed doors.

PAX East is in April, PAX Prime is in August.

I'm not sure now if they ever said that if they are showing anything at GDC it's going to be behind closed doors :/ Well, if it's only for developers then I don't see the point of hiding anything.

Everything they say makes it seem like they'll be there with SOMETHING TR-related, but they haven't said behind closed doors like they have for PAX.

What I'm saying is...if it's only for developers why would they show TR behind closed doors at event only for developers.

Because there will still be people there who could release the content or leak it and it is still publicized, isn't it?

I don't think they would... I'm sure every developer is as worried about leaks as CD.

If they have a booth, why isn't their name on the list? That doesn't make sense to me. I thought the list was for everyone who was attending.
