I guess that's why I felt nothing for any of the characters. She did show emotion, and you could occasionally see it, but it was poor.
Look at the hand animated face on Ellie's at 3:19. I've never seen a more realistic yawn tbqfh :o

And then look at the scene in this video at 5:58. Jonahs mouth looks like its just going up and down like a ps2 game would do. Everything up close doesn't look as good when playing gameplay.

I frickin love Tomb Raider, the cutscenes were my only problem (and some characters). I enjoy LAU cutscenes more. And I know they are 2 different game companies with different engines but the devs emphasized so much how this mo cap thing was this new genius thing that's going to make us more immersed in the story. That's why I prefer pre rendered cutscenes to in-game cutscenes. Even if the graphics look superb, and even if its more time consuming to create pre rendered cutscenes, the final outcome is more satisfying in the end

Wow, those facial and body animations in TLoU were amazing! D:
And yeah, the facial and body animations in TR are just pathetic, lol. Like you said, something out of a PS2 game. It didn't stop me from being drawn into the story or anything, though. That was all down to the writing for me. :p
And also, yes, LAU facial animations were WAAAAAY better.

Oh, I see. Well yeah, then the facial expressions are impressive.
On a different note, Rhianna Pratchett tweeted that her boyfriend surprised her while they were at the cinema. Apparently they were watching a cartoon short which Rhianna thought seemed eerily familiar - with good reason, it was a short about their relationship, which ended with a question. I'm gonna assume it was a marriage proposal as she tweets she said 'yes'. How cute is that? .

Wow! That is so crazily romantic! How would someone even organize something like that? D:
But yeah, a big congrats to those two, hehe. :D
