There are a few of these boxes in the night hub screenshots, and the member who went to the Germany meet said Lara finds arrows (which we saw in the leaked night hub demo) and shotgun shells (which could be the metal box). Being that she needs the shotgun to shoot the wall, those could be shotgun shells for that purpose. |

Ah yes, because it's wood...:pi: Also, I think the pots from TRU are back, but we probably just shoot them or bust them with the axe, as there are pots here and there and they shatter. I love this part of the demo, when he says "you can't hide from me outsider" (mainly because it sounds like something the AI in Oblivion would say) because she seems....just so nimble and odd to me. I love her crouch animation. I also love the fact that the player used a strategy of waiting for the enemy to reload before running in and pushing him off the edge, to conserve arrows I suppose, though I think we can pick them off of bodies. At least we now see there are different ways of tackling a combat situations, so that's a major plus. I mean now every time i play i'll think of different tactics. Nice job CD. I might actually think before shooting aimlessly this time :tmb:

TBH when I see her run with the shotgun it's like I get tunnel vision but then she's in a valley and a giant t-rex comes out of nowhere.

They really are! I didn't quite like the animations from the 2011 demo, but it seems they've improved them drastically. And the environment seems even more alive and reacts to everything even more so than in the 2011 demo. Also! the water when she wades in the 2011 demo is different. It reacts to her body now and actually makes ripples. if you compare the part in the trailer with the one from the demo you can see a big difference. The only animation I can admit to truly not enjoying is the ledge shimmy animation. But I don't want to shimmy on ledges anyways, so...

^Weird, I thought the shimmy animations were well done. It kind of looks like she's struggling, which is good, because I'm pretty sure shimmying across ledges requires a lot of strength. :p

Yeah that whole sequence with the airplane was just bad, nothing was fluid. And like when the platform falls beneath her, she looks down, but then the frame cuts to her holding the ledge of the plane. It was so choppy. I hope they are fixing that lol, everything beyond that was good to me. Omg i love her ever changing running animation. Like literally it's never the same pace or motion O.O |
^IMO right up to her walking onto the plane was good, then the climb bit was not so much, and then when she walks away it's all great again.
I also love how fast and fun the ziplines feel. Reminds me of TR2 and 3 and I think there might be more of them up in the mountains beyond the night hub, as we found some wires in those screens which hopefully aren't the Thailand bug. :pi: I also love her jump at the very begining of that demo, and when she passes across the first waterfall/ stream before the combat encounter, I bet there's a little nook to the right which might offer some bit of exploration or something of interest. |

I bet it leads to the little village we see when Lara's sliding down the first rope. @.@ Also, I loved how fluid the jumping animation was when she jumped across the gap in the stairs. It transitioned amazing with the landing and crouch. |

I just re-watched the "Broll" video, and I am really impressed with it :o. I cannot wait to see how the game will turn out in the end :cln:. Call me hopeful or hopeless, but I think either way the game will be solid. I loved the effects in the cliff demo :cln:.
