Crystal Dynamics is planning not only one game but several games. Sorry to disappoint. :D

crystal are planning several TR games? what's your source? right now, the only things i've heard are:

1. TRR which is in development hell and just had its lead abandon it
2. TRXII which is in the concept phase
3. a vague hope of the Lara Croft games ported to switch
4. an even vaguer hope of TR:U DLC coming to PC, perhaps possibly maybe but it's up in the air

which, tl;dr means there's one game in active game-content-being-made development

Sorry I am struggling to find. I think it was in a video (or a written article ?) with Dallas Dickinson saying "gameS" instead of "game". It wasn't the very first video last year when they announced the "unification" project, something more recent.

I thought Ed was joking a bit, but it seems something unfortunate went down at Square. This tweet defiantly seems like he is indeed serious about tea time next week.

Reloaded development has been slow, much slower than expected. People were theorizing that something was going on. Then Ed announced he was leaving Square Enix and just this week he said he's going to spill the tea on them.

A new update was just released to 50% of players and based on constant messages on Discord it would appear that the game for the most part no longer works until a fix arrives.

Most (all?) tombs can't be started as you end up in an infinite loading screen, but it does take away your tickets/energy.
And speaking of tickets, they no longer regenerate if your game is closed. You either have to have the game open or running in the background for them to regenerate.

I personally haven't played the game in a little while so this update postponed my comeback.

If you are still on v0.16 make sure to keep it at that until a fix arrives. If you update to v0.17, well, best of luck.

Honestly I will never understand why people delete their accounts instead of utilizing the block feature. Is it so hard to just press the block button if someone is annoying you?
But to each their own.

Back on TRR topic, it would appear that they released a hotfix that should fix the latest batch of problems in the game. Haven't had the chance to try it myself.

Ed was supposedly going to spill some tea this week about SE Europe.

His account deletion seems more like him being slapped with an NDA than anything else. Very sus if you ask me.

I saw that large artwork piece earlier but didn't realise it was official. I like it.

I get sad every time I remember this is a mobile game.

Maybe if it didn't have all the ******** grindy mechanics that plague most mobile games it would have potential to turn into another gem like GO but I'm afraid it's gonna be the former...

I still wanna wait for the game to actually properly release before passing any judgement but I still have a few doubts about it...

I was trying to keep tabs on this, but now I'm reading that Ed deleted his twitter.

Imo, it's a bit lame and attention-whore-ish to one minute post publicly he's going to "spill the tea", and then the next minute to just up and disappear.

I can understand if he was slapped with a NDA, or "harassed by personal questions" ...but surely he must've been aware as to what he could and couldn't disclose before leaving the company and before posting the tea comment for all to see.

He seems to be a bit of a drama queen now. Perhaps it's good he's off the project (although it doesn't look that promising to begin with... who on earth wants a top-down TR1 remake mobile game?)

The guy who was in charge of the project just came across as a massive drama queen and attention seeker. He deleted his twitter a few times and then came back claiming he was going to spill the tea. There probably is nothing to tell!

Well, Announced on 23.11.2020 and we are still on: 0.19.0 (19th of May 2022)
It has a very, very slow development rate.

Also, Oktober 15, 2021 they released a statement that the game was delayed to 2022. ALMOST 1 YEAR AFTER ANNOUNCEMENT.

I just think they put to much on this, instead of really getting the old and new Lara together. They probably though this would reduce the "need" of a new game.

I mean, it's a mobile game, based on another popular mobile game.

I see a lot of people on Twitter complaining about the grind in this game. Level 1 and 2 is simple enough, but people are getting stuck on level 3 and not bothering to continue playing.

I fully believe that Reloaded is going to be a flop. The game is way too grindy and hard then other similar mobile games.

I can't see reloaded doing well myself, I don't know about everyone else but the hype for me has completely gone. I'm not exactly fond of mobile games but I was willing to give this a chance. If it wasn't for this thread and people continuing to post in it, I would have forgotten about it.

I was one of the people who was following this game since the first early access build and I kept playing it daily cause it was the perfect time waster while I was walking my dog. The grind is insane. I played MMOs that required less grind than Reloaded.

But as I said, dog walking plus TRR was a perfect combo. ~3 months ago I stopped playing the game cause I pretty much got all of my items to legendary rating. I check the discord server announcements once a month and from what I have noticed, there wasn't a single new tomb or anything added in the last couple of months.

And pretty much after every update they quickly do a rollback cause something broke or they quickly release a hotfix.

So at this point I truly believe that there's like two people working on this game from how slowly the updates come out. And nothing is going through QA or any kind of testing. The people that play this game are the unpaid testers.

Apparently the game is getting close to a global release. The are currently working on balancing issues. I'll probably give the game a try again when it's officially out. Hopefully they balance it out fairly because it's quite a grindfest in its current state.

Is this game still being developed? It seems the entire fan base has forgotten about it. I don't see it being talked about anywhere anymore.

Their discord server is still up and they do @ everyone announcements every so often. But I haven't played the game for half a year or more at this point.

The last time I played, the game had 8 tombs. Quick glance at the change longs in the past 6 months doesn't mention anything about any new tomb so I am not really sure what's going on. Mostly some events, balance changes, fixes and stuff.

hope this releases soon, i was actually looking forward to it but its been delayed for so long that i kinda got bored before ever touching it
