I really feel they should release something else soon. They've introduced the new Lara, people must know it's a reboot by now - those people who're interested enough will anyway. They need to show some of those Tomb Raider pillars Karl keeps bleating on about.
Unless they plan on completely blowing us away November-February, I worry for this game. They wanted to hook a new audience, we get it, time to really impress the fans. Actually, I'm surprised that they've still yet to set a release of Final hours#2. I thought they were meant to be every 2 months? |
they should atleast release a demo or something

Demo's never come before very close to realease. Expect a demo in the last days of February/first days of March. |
I'll never understand CD's (very quiet) promotional campaign. Sure, with games like ACIII and Resi 6, fans get a new trailer/gameplay footage every other week and are "spoiled" but at least that way fans are kept happy and the game will end up sell millions of copies anyway. I don't care about being spoiled; no-one's forcing anyone to watch anything. I mean, the way CD are going now, people would of forgotten the game exists by the time it's released. :/

And yeah, I don't think we'll see anything new until December or January. |
@Mikky, I don't think people are gonna forget TR by release. CD are still showing and demoing the game at a few more gaming events in October, so that only leaves 4 months before release. But people are bound to wonder if there is more to TR than just running around shooting arrows and that one combat fight. We need to see something that Lara/we can do in the game, some actual gameplay besides running and the odd jump - or QTEs. I like what I've seen so far, but there's only so much of that to go around; I'd still like to see more gameplay to convince me the game is worth it.
@Lukass, I agree with what you're saying. However, CD have a right to be proud of what has been shown so far, it's good stuff and I'm certain it took a lot of work and effort. But, unless they show something more than running and hopping about, I feel they're shooting themselves in the foot (with an arrow). |
