I really feel they should release something else soon. They've introduced the new Lara, people must know it's a reboot by now - those people who're interested enough will anyway. They need to show some of those Tomb Raider pillars Karl keeps bleating on about.

Unless they plan on completely blowing us away November-February, I worry for this game. They wanted to hook a new audience, we get it, time to really impress the fans.

Actually, I'm surprised that they've still yet to set a release of Final hours#2. I thought they were meant to be every 2 months?

Why on Earth do people keep going on about a demo?
Demo's never come before very close to realease.
Expect a demo in the last days of February/first days of March.

I'll never understand CD's (very quiet) promotional campaign. Sure, with games like ACIII and Resi 6, fans get a new trailer/gameplay footage every other week and are "spoiled" but at least that way fans are kept happy and the game will end up sell millions of copies anyway. I don't care about being spoiled; no-one's forcing anyone to watch anything. I mean, the way CD are going now, people would of forgotten the game exists by the time it's released. :/

Don't hold your breath. Demos don't get released at least a month before the game's out.

But look at them how excited they are when they're talking about the footages they've revealed so far. I fully understand it took a lot of time, nerves and money to make it, but for us fans it's like....nothing so to speak. It really doesn't show anything important in terms of gameplay. I also don't understand what's so unique about the combat system that's been shown. I don't see any evolution, nothing that would make me say wow. If they showed a single tomb + the axe climbing and if the whole video was like 3 mins long, it would be much better than revealing 20 minutes of cinematic video not showing absolutely anything important for the players.

And I don't believe we'll see anything new anyt time soon.

I completely agree with this post. Spot on.

And yeah, I don't think we'll see anything new until December or January.

@Mikky, I don't think people are gonna forget TR by release. CD are still showing and demoing the game at a few more gaming events in October, so that only leaves 4 months before release. But people are bound to wonder if there is more to TR than just running around shooting arrows and that one combat fight. We need to see something that Lara/we can do in the game, some actual gameplay besides running and the odd jump - or QTEs. I like what I've seen so far, but there's only so much of that to go around; I'd still like to see more gameplay to convince me the game is worth it.

@Lukass, I agree with what you're saying. However, CD have a right to be proud of what has been shown so far, it's good stuff and I'm certain it took a lot of work and effort. But, unless they show something more than running and hopping about, I feel they're shooting themselves in the foot (with an arrow).

yo n' Rai make a point cause if they just showed like a side tomb or something they could resist the spoiler montage with the whole comic con thing. they should of stopped at the end of the deer demo like at the gaming events. like you said climbing axe would be great to show. how you use it and climb but like to get to a side tomb. so far the combat changed with manual aim like every other game they should show her fighting with her hands but only if she can cause in all her games lau she can only kick :ton:

Yeah, I know. I was just slightly exaggerating. :p It's just that all these other games get new stuff all the time, and we get close to nothing. :/
