It's been a while since we've seen the first hour of the game, i'm sure alot has changed (the sam orange scene for example).

I'm sure you guys won't be disappointed. The cave from the version I played in December was amazing. They added a few cool extra parts and removed a bit of the moaning. The cave looked great too.


I should probably make an impressions thread from what I played. Haven't had a chance to write up what I thought about the game. But I figure the ones from Melonie were just as great. I'll feel like I would be saying the same things as her :P

I should have elaborated, Little parts as in "polish"

For example the part where Lara is wading through the neck deep water, she slides her hand across the rock roof. The sound of the hand sliding on the rocky wet roof was really cool. Lot's of attention to detail.

But yes, some of these parts seemed like they were cut from the demo played at e3. The wading through the water seemed a bit longer too.

Haha, But really. I played 2 hours and 30 mins of it and I'm trying to keep my sanity. The game is a MUST HAVE for me after I played it. I'm going crazy looking at the ign demo playthrough trying to figure out the parts that I didn't explore.

I think it was because it was posted before. And maybe it was linked to his website? Not sure, but I didn't see the multiplayer one.:o

Although I intended to watch it, I didn't pay attention to the links in the OP at first, but I think they were just YouTube links. Apparently the single-player vid had been already posted elsewhere on the board previously, but that was removed as well.

I don't get why though. If it was just Shadowmask's review of the demo, I don't see how it would be any different to the handful of other reviews that have been posted.

Scratch that, I've read the OP properly now. Apparently SM had been playing "more than just the demo", whether that means they had the full game or not I don't know, but it obviously transcended the rules about leaked info. But still, SM claimed Justin had okayed it :pi:

I watched it. It didn't give any spoilers or footage other than what was known I think it may just have been that his review contained swearing. :)

Guys Ive been to hell and back with that thread and got perma banned then reinstated once I complained. I was then granted permission to post the thread by one moderator, only to have it closed by another. :hea:

I'm hoping it can be reinstated once more.

FYI I visited Square in London on two consecutive days. Once to play the two hour demo many others have already played, and the other to play the multiplayer. The two videos are previews of the game.
