Don't a lot of games have foliage textures like that?

Yeah games form the 90's :p.

Most games with Large environments have textures like that. :cln: If it's not that then it's probably the tomb raider underworld scenario where the foliage was **** until release where they upped the res. blah. :pi:

The textures remind me of Assassin's Creed foliage textures.

http://media.teamxbox.com/games/ss/2...1250282010.jpg Maybe you are right and it has something to do with the size of the game, but still I do not think that a few high res textures that repeat anyway, would take much disk space.

That image looks just as bad. What you're seeing in the TR cutscene is a very close up view of grass due to the angle.

And the textures in Batman AA were mostly two dimensional and moved according to your camera so that you "didn't notice". :p

Even Skyrim on medium settings looks better and it's an open world game.

Hey, at least we will be able to re-texture things. Hopefully :).

After the leaked E3 2011 demo, I really thought that Tomb Raider graphics would end up being as smexy as these:

Well with 9 more moths to go, there is still hope :).

I personally don't care about it. :p

And not for me because console.

Same. I don't have the cash to shell out for a fancy-schmancy gaming computer :p
