I thought it could be a sort of chart of 'media waves' and it could tell us when to expect the next one, but... that's not something they would do. Besides, it doesn't make any sense. XD

I believe she'd become well-known. If you were thought to have drowned at sea and then you show up with a story of having been surviving on an island. :)
