Ugh. Sure, you made something up.

It's the internet, that doesn't exist here.

Baratheon 20-04-13 12:59

How did you “make up” the initials of her name?
Did you plant them there so that someday in the future you could let everyone know that the L from Lara and the C from Croft put together was your idea? :cln:

Da Hell?! You have completely lost your mind..

motoleo 20-04-13 13:20

Sure it's her initials, but people never used it. They'd much rather type out Lara Croft, I've been trying to make LC happen a long time ago.

They told me to stop trying to make it happen and that it wasn't going to happen.

davidmeyer000 20-04-13 14:40

Need single player DLC epilogue featuring Lara's return to the island with dual pistols...

And it still hasn't happened, apparently. I haven't seen anyone except Alex say LC.

italibabee 20-04-13 17:50

I got my PS3 working, but I'm not going to really go on TR MP.
Last time I went on people just kept jumping and it got really annoying.

I'll stick with U3 MP.

I was bored :) It's an Alternate ending

Beautiful!

Valentino 21-04-13 11:03

Does anyone know who wrote the script for Legend? Because I know a lot of you say parts were cheesy, which they probably were, but I was playing it yesterday and thought the script was way better than Tomb Raiders. It made me realize how many memorable quotes there are in Legend. I can't think of any in Tomb Raider. I don't know, it might have been Keeley that gave Legends script some umph. Or it might be because I played it when I was 11 so never thought it was cheesy and grew up never realizing it either. Thought it had some great dialogue.

He wrote the script.

I can't exactly follow the events of your version of the ending so could you please explain :o ?

Any Tomb Raider game's script was better than Tomb Raider's to be honest  ...

Legend did have an awesome script indeed, I never really felt the cheesiness either, and still don't. Keeley certainly did help but it was very well written anyway.

One of my favourite parts were every time Zip & Alister tried to be funny but ended up being told off by Lara :p !

Yeah, it's funny that after people finished Legend there was a bunch of people who hated Zip and Alister and thought they were annoying but you could tell even Lara thought they were annoying at times. I thought Alisiter was informative about the places we were at and background information on area's and cultures.

Sam's injured, Lara tried to help her. Someone shoots at Sam, Lara pushes her away and shoots back. Lara gets shot and dies.

That's how I see it lol.

I liked them, not my favourite characters ever but they were a nice addition, I think I actually missed them in Anniversary :p ...!

Now that I think about it, you are right! AoD and TRL has many memorable lines in fact. The two games that are regarded the worst in the series by a lot. :p

Lara_Fan1 21-04-13 15:03

Go to hell.

Run you bastard's, I'm coming for you all.

Yes, still alive.

I'll show you what (forget the word) can do

You can do it, you're a croft. I don't think I'm that kind of Croft, Sure you are. You just don't know it yet.

Just a few memorable lines from Tomb Raider.

Hi guys! :eve:
New fan of TR here! Really love the reboot! I played the first two games some 10+ years ago but never really got to know the series well. I'm really interested in trying some of the older games but I don't know which ones are the best to pick up! Any suggestions for a new fan?

They're all good in their own way.

I suggest you get them all, and play them :).

Hi kirsten! Welcome. If you want to go way back, try Tomb Raider 3. Angel of Darkness is worth a look, and then try Legend and Underworld.

Uhh, that line was memorable only because it was so cheesy and desperately tried to be iconic. IMO it was horrible.

The other memorable lines are much better.

The best example of how bad Roth's voice actor is. He sounds almost completely Scottish during that cheesy exchange.

Yes. Legend's script was much better than Tomb Raider's, but the overall story was weaker.

Just a few memorable lines from Tomb Raider.

See, they stuck out, but they weren't memorable imo. I mean, people on here use "i'm falling in love all over again" sometimes when making a joke about an ugly picture of Lara, or to simply say they are falling in love with the franchise all over again. You gets me? I even see people talking in a manner how (TRilogy) Lara would. Intentional or not, it's pretty obvious they're doing it. Orrrrr I just have a love for Legend seeing as it was my first Tomb Raider game and the dialogue just holds a lot of nostalgia. Legend is to me, what Tomb Raider (1996) is to many long time Tomb Raider fans.

motoleo 21-04-13 16:57

Yes, still alive is my favorite one.

I love how you forget the word of what's suppose to be a memorable line.

Valentino 21-04-13 17:18

See the only thing I would change bout TR in the future would be to have Troels Folmann back to do the score and have whoever did the script for Legend. I couldn't tell if the cutscenes were awkward or it was the character models and expression that made them awkward

motoleo 21-04-13 17:25

When she talks to Sam through the radio...
Then she talks to Roth and he finds him.

In the cave where she talks to Sam. Right before the E3 2012 demo.

This would've been one of the screenshots I would've submitted to the contest. I think in this screenshot she is listening to Sam, But the memorable thing about it was this is after she falls into a body of water, it's the first time we had seen her clean after so long.
