Yeah I noticed the necklace when I researching Himiko the other day.

I'm hoping there will be Japanese style tombs on the island, perhaps adorned with warrior statues. It would be cooler if they came to life, but I doubt that would happen.

she entered a new room and proceded slowly with her hands near her guns all sexy and stuff and then we see shes after some mystic crystal on a shrine and she can acrobatically and militarilly defend herself...with style

This explorer is following her fathers name. Her father was tougth lost on an expedition. We see he taught her a lot of weird stuff in the field when little but she loved and was fascinated by his storys of ancient unvisited temples and always wanted to go with him.
