Just ugh...

Haaaaaa. I'm still not over the fact they picked Camilla. I'm not crying every nights about it, but still that really threw me off.

Last time, I logged in the forums was on July 12th. Pretty scary, considering I've always been a TR hag. :-/

*le sigh*

1) What is TGS?
2) Don't you remember Meagan answering your question they have no new content to show?
3) No. No multiplayer.

1) Tokyo Game Show.
2) Developers ALWAYS HAD to say that before releasing surprising stuffs
3) I have no problem if it helps getting better rating.

They never said "we're not showing anything" and then...voila, suprise! Never! If they say there's no new content prepared, we're not getting anything.

Deal.

Well they did say that we were not getting MP and then voila... Could work in this case too :pi: :p

Linoshi Croft 15-09-12 18:22

Surprise my ass. They always say that and it ends up being something stupid.

Mikky 15-09-12 18:37

I wonder if the TR after this one will be any good.

This!:tmb:

Tonyrobinson 15-09-12 18:40

The bad thing is that if they aren't showing much then they are only appealing to TR fans and a lot of those fans aren't sold or don't like the reboot at all then could they be alienating their market and be worse of in the long run. I mean I am not just being a pissy fan expecting more news I like that we aren't spoiled but the only thing we've heard about is Lara. I want to see platforming and combat. :o

The TR after this one should be the best one yet because it's gonna follow the old good formula, I suppose (Lara will be already Lara, as we know her) - at least I hope so. Nothing is set in stone though, this is just me thinking what they could do logically.

You're right. I hope, it's not going to be too different, though. I think the game is going to be fully open world and she will be able to swim. She also might get the horse. As I write this, I don't think they can change too much. There's a nice sentence in the EDGE magazine (*reads*) "You move too far away and it's not Tomb Raider. Keep it too close and it's direct sequel to Underworld".
So, I hope they're not going to move too far with the concept.

tbqh i think that they should make the sequel tomb raider 2 i mean by that time won she hav pistols

Lukass 15-09-12 21:49

Of course it's going to be sequel. She's not going to be inexperienced in the next game. I don't exactly understand that "won" word. I think she'll have the duals in the next game and maybe even in this game.

That's highly unlikely, I'm afraid :o

But this game might be a nice surprise :) let's first play this game, then judge it as a whole and then talk about Tomb Raider II, I guess :p

your probably right in talking about the freaking deer thingy with improved graphics i mean look at the gamescom polygon interview the graphics look brighter and deer demo has more shadows

oh yes it is getting so repetitive. I hope they stop showing us the same stuff but with ''Improved Graphics'' i mean.. who cares about graphics anyway? I'd rather see a decent looking game with a rich gameplay variety and functions than an eye candy lovely looking game (like Uncharted) with lame and linear gameplay functions.

Deal.

So you think no new stuffs of TR for next 169 days until release?

Dude, even there's nothing, there will be at least a Launch trailer.

Beside Karl said they will show hub system and combat in some time.

Lio123 16-09-12 05:56

He said that since last year on the first demo.

Dude, launch trailer is the least important thing to show.

Not actually. Launch trailers usually shows many new in game footage to boost the viewers for playing interest by a lot. Last year for example, Battlefield 3 Launch trailer surprises me because before showing that trailer, most of the people didn't expect a mission in Parisian road or in a train! :)

tomekkobialka 16-09-12 11:43

All I want is a trailer or demo that looks at least mildly interesting. Show us the environments! Show us the exploration! Show us the gameplay! Show us the supernatural (:mis:) enemies! All we've had so far is a bunch of 'movie' trailers, mercenary-killing and mind-bogglingly philosophical mental status examinations.

Tonyrobinson 16-09-12 11:52

Well we were told to get ready for our Christmas presents so hopefully their will be something around then. The good thing is that March will fly in now people are off their holidays and Halloween/Thanksgiving/Christmas is approaching. :)

Plus the movie slate for the next few months are good. :D

Exactly this. The only real gameplay we've seen was the cavern and forest demo. And that was just running...+ the E3 2012 demo, but that was 70% cinematics, so again - nothing important.
