My excitement died a bit after August passed away, it's so boring now they only care about competitions, cosplays, Repeat. :/ There was more magic back then and even more magic before they declined the supernatural creatures.

The best thing about the hype when the concepts were leaked was the supernatural creatures!

We were all wondering ho would they be like,and there was rumors the game would be as scary as silent hill!

That'd be AWESOME!

I don't think her eye color changed, it's just the lighting in that last pic you posted. But they definitely changed her face shape. Her chin/bottom area is wider than before.

And it looks like they completely re-did her hair since those old screenshots, so it's not surprising her fringe is thicker. Her hair is even lighter now.

Also, I noticed while looking through the officially released 2012 screenshots, that that's the only one where you can properly see the front of her face. Maybe CD aren't bothered to photoshop her face to make it look better, unlike everything else in the other screenshots. :whi:

I'm sure they will fix that before release, though. It would only make sense... if other characters pockets are 3D. :pi:

Karl Stewart: The scavengers on the island have come from many different backgrounds and cultures. They all speak English, but sometimes they speak they’re native tongue. So while you did hear a Scavenger speaking Russian, there is quite a bit of diversity in terms of their nationality.

MetalROcks: Will we have a health bar, or regenerating health?

Karl Stewart: We’re not quite ready to get into the specifics of the health system, but as the community noted during our “Descent” demo, Lara’s health will regenerate during combat if she takes cover or gets out of the action. More on that at a later date!

Foundered: Will the game have extras like interviews, making of, bloopers, and so on? And will unlocking achievements/trophies open up extras?

Karl Stewart: We’re really proud of the work we do here at Crystal, and want to show off all the effort that went into making the game. That’s part of the reason we partnered with Geoff Keighley for The Final Hours of Tomb Raider. While we’ve not nailed down how all of the content will be presented just yet, it’s safe to say that you’ll be seeing lots of behind-the-scenes stuff both leading to launch, and after.

Rai: Quite a few people are worried that we haven’t learned enough about gameplay mechanics. So, will you be talking/showing more about this later on, rather than concentrating on Lara’s story?

Karl Stewart: The funny thing is that I’ve read comments from fans saying we’ve shown too much! It’s a fine line – trying to give a solid grasp of what the game has to offer, and not spoiling launch day. But yes, we will show more gameplay content leading to launch. Until now the campaign has focused on Lara herself, and building her into a survivor. We’ve only teased combat, and have shown little in the way of exploration, traversal, and puzzle solving. You’ll be treated to content highlighting those aspects as we move toward March 5.

A Big House: Is Brian designing the box art, or is someone else? When do you plan on revealing the box art?

Karl Stewart: Designing box art is always a collaborative effort, as it’s a difficult task to distill a game down to a single, iconic image. We’ve been working through the final box art iterations, though, and think we’ve achieved that under the guidance of Brian as Art Director. No date set for the reveal just yet, but I can say that it’s a new image, and we’re very excited to show it off.

Its Tuesday, the last one also released on a Tuesday. Also a Hitman video was released the day before TFH1 was released. And yesterday, another Hitman video was released.

Does someone remember the time where the only info about a new game was coming from some magazines and even then the info was rare. The day the game came out it was such a wonderful day, you holding something in your hand that´s full of things to discover. You didn´t even know what´s awaiting you.
I really miss these times because I am one of the people who try to stay away from all the seduction of teasers and infos and gameplays. But I often can´t :o
So I gotta say I´m sort of happy that they keep so much away from us.

Great to know they've some new imagine to use as the box art. I just hope it's not some sort of Hollywood poster with Lara in the middle as the main star and the other characters around her, that would be extremely stupid and it would look like a circus poster. No!

It's possible indeed. Especially as he's seen some comments (not necessarily on TRF) where some fans are saying they've seen too much. I agree with that if you put what we've seen in context: The 1st hour of the game, including Lara's first human kill, and other story elements, though we have no idea how much they have an effect on the rest of the game. Karl even said that Whitman was an important antagonist in the game. What we haven't seen enough of and what he's finally admitting to, is the exploration, puzzles and combat. Imo, it would have been better to spread stuff out more evenly, though I guess they don't want to spoil Lara's evolution too much.

^ Well, we could have seen some puzzle, combat or exploration by now, there were the gaming events and there's two coming, but since they've admitted they're not showing anything now, we'll probably have to wait until Christmas, which is awful. Also, I don't understand why they can't reveal the box art now :rolleyes: He said no date set in stone yet. Why they need a date? Just bloody show it to the fans, for God sake! All the big games have already revealed their box arts, but TR fans have to wait again. It's hard to be a TR fan.
