In your mind, when you dream up all these wonderful scenarios, does Tomb Raider ever come into the equation at any point? As an idea for the next Call of Duty, what you suggested is great.

There's already places to take cover so why not moving cover too? It can also be a one-time thing, doesn't have to be a main aspect of the game.

Which is bad enough as it is in a game that's supposed to be based around exploration and puzzle solving.

Not to mention the disparity of Lara transitioning from a useless scaredy-cat to some Rambo who can duck & cover with the best of them (in a matter of four game days).

Well yeah I find it pointless too as in Tomb Raider I mostly jump into the "battlefield" and kill everyone which is what one should excpect from an adventure game but bear in mind that this is also survival, I imagine that, in the beginning at least, enemies will be stronger so we should think twice before jumping in and start shooting.

I really doubt whether I'm gonna use the cover system anyway :p ...
