Hadn't TR already been in development for 5 years since 2012?

We knew about Lara and her bow earlier than AC3 was announced. I mean, years ago on the leaked concept arts with those "monsters" or whatever.

AFAIK, development on TR9 started shortly after Underworld was released. The concept art that pTURKEYq mentioned (the first indication TR9 was in production) was leaked in early 2009.

To be fair to Tomb Raider, while TLOU cutscene looks great....its still prerendered. Tomb Raider's cutscenes are real time.

I've spent two days digesting what I saw, after freaking out at the sheer awe-and-shock of that gameplay video, and I agree with you.
I would like them to be more of a dirty white or grey, but honestly how can you fault what was shown. It's perfection! And all those side missions...

Uh oh, I'm starting to freak out again.... wicked wicked cool.

I really don't get the hype over the possible multiplayer compatibility but it will certainly be intresting (so long as Roth is not 2P :pi: ... ) .

I agree with LNSNHGTDS's original post, it'll be something cool.

Brian Horton will be in this episode. So I guess he will say something about the art, Lara's model, designs, graphics, etc. You know, overall the visual side of the game.

That is ok, but they said that in this episode something big is coming, something new, and it is about gameplay.

This is really unfortunate.
It seems that industrial espionage is terrible in this sector.
It's like opening a magazine shop on a street and the next month open four more stores.
