Just got my Limited Edition Guide today. Love the necklace. I already skimmed through all the none walkthrough parts. Was surprised at the different equipment Lara get's that I didn't know about. It's so cool. :)

Does anyone have experience with ordering games from Amazon? I paid for two day shipping for TR and it says it should be delivered to my home by March 5th.

i got my guide from there and i got 3 days earlier then the estimated date! :D When did they ship it?

I know someone who works in Blockbuster. One of the staff perks is taking home rental copies of films & games for free. They've already got their stock of TR9, including the rentals, and he said I could have one from tomorrow (if I wanted) until the end of the week.

I was expecting him to bring it to me though, he has in the past when I've borrowed games.

Hehe I just got home from work (Sainsburys) and I was looking at the Xbox/PS3 games and on both the top sellers charts is TR!! :jmp: and they had the case (Empty :() and I wanted to read the back of it but I was just coming back from my break. I cook in the cafe and anything that gets opened (well some things) and is still in date at the end of the day we have to put a dot on the lid telling other cooks when to chuck it away and I kept going up too people with this pot of prawn mayo saying "This goes out of date the day TR comes out!!:jmp::jmp::jmp:" Maybe I'm abit too excited xD

Steam pre-load is only for those who pre-ordered? Because when I try to pre-load the game, I get the message "No subscription".
I am going to buy the game this Monday for the PC, so if I have the disc, do I still need Steam? I'm a newbie when it comes to Steam, so.... :ton:

You need steam to play the game regardless of if you have the physical copy!

Easy - you can't activate the game. You need to activate it on steam. After you did that..

Steam has some kind of offline mode.

okay, probably really offtopic, but just now I was watching the Gametap TR Retrospective from my Tomb Raider Anniversary Collector's Edition, and noticed a screencap from just after Legend's release in 2006. I paused the video and on the bottom one topic name said:

'Let's complain about Lara's hair" page (1 2 3 ... Last Page)

I literally laughed out loud xD and remembered that just before Legend's release the hair complaints started, and they didn't really stop until the announcement of the TressFX.

PC gaming isn't feasible these days without internet. IMO. You will have to find a way to connect at least once to unlock the game. Then you can play offline.

I actually really love the bun. It use too annoy me when I was little when you saw her with the plait (sp?) in the FMV's. It use to confuse me because I thought her hair was short like it was when you played. Aww I love that model of Lara :p

Yeah, now that I have it downloaded, I can say it's a REALLY-REALLY useful program for us PC gamers!! :D

It feels to good to finally see Lara reclaim her crown and her rightful place on the throne.:hug::hug:

I wish I could ask Lara how does it feel to be at the head of the gaming table. Or on the top of the videogame industry. The view from up there must be nice :)
