But we all know it's been much longer than that. |
Yeah, I know :(. I guess the gaming events have just taken too much of their time?
|
Yeah, I know :(. I guess the gaming events have just taken too much of their time?
The gaming events should be their time. They should be showing new content at them instead of the same old footage. |
The gaming events should be their time. They should be showing new content at them instead of the same old footage.
Exactly. And they've had big plans for this Tokyo event. And the fact, they haven't shown anything is not because of the delay. |
They had big plans? Did they say that? Why were they cancelled?
|
They had big plans? Did they say that? Why were they cancelled?
Yes, they did say that. I don't know when and where, but they did. It's been mentioned in the List of Upcoming events for Tomb Raider (2012) thread. |

you overexaggerating :p its small sorry for double post |
Looks like Tomb Raider will have a bigger presence in Australia than it had in Tokyo.

Not really. People will be able to play it, but they won't be allowed to record it like at the Tokyo event, so this means nothing for us. |
Not really. People will be able to play it, but they won't be allowed to record it like at the Tokyo event, so this means nothing for us.
agreed. this makes me sad :( |

Yeah, that's great for people at Australia, but not so much for us. :/ |
^at least The aussies can tell us what they think. We've had international opinions on Tomb Raider and in October the Russians can have their say too as well as the UK. I think that's kinda interesting. But it's sad I can't go to Eurogamer :(.
You'd laugh if I'd not edited my misspelling of aussies :p |
I'm sorry if this will offend someone who reads this, but...
Seriously Crystal Dinamics/ Square Enix, whoever is handling the "marketing strategy", change your marketing department now. Just take a look at this, the biggest Tomb Raider forum is DEAD! I seriously don't know how in the world you expect for this game to make it big when you can't even get the fans interested. Sure the podcasts are a nice addition, but that is exactly what they should be, an addition, not the only thing you give to the customers. But let's put aside the rest of the gaming community and focus just on the fans of the franchise. You are being utterly disrispectful to the people that are your biggest support. We grew up with the franchise that is in your hands right now, and are really inerested in this new game that looks like it will bring the franchise back to life, and if the fans can use a part of their free time to vote for Tomb Raider in a contest, or discuss it with other people and even maybe try to change their negative view on the new game... well I feel we deserve more than a podcast of what the Crystal Dynamics staff likes to eat for lunch. I think a few hints and clues here and there won't kill the great Marketing Strategy. |

I was so ready and confident to visit Eurogamer (with you), but I need to save some money as my mum is coming to visit me in the UK. Imagine the fun if we finally met and played Tomb Raider together! I would pay a million for that, if I had one :vlol: |

People forgot about the game (not just us TR fans), journalists are nervous as there's still no new content. It's sad sad sad and sad once again. I honestly dunno what to think. |

I did indeed remove it earlier today as it was previously in the podcast that listed the events but their plans have since been changed. |

Oh me too! :D Promise you won't laugh (well you can :p) but I even dreamt that I'd won the chance to go and I could invite one person from the forums and I sent you a PM with a hint that I could take someone and you didn't get it that I was taking you. It was just a dream though - but feel free to hug my dream self :vlol: @January Snow*, I agree with your post. |
Rai, I am so glad you agreed with January's post. It shows that we aren't just being whiney teens/young adults. Actual grown adult fans are feeling this too.
