Maybe, though it seems sort of strange, so far she only hunts for XP, so it would surprise me if she crafted rope.

I haven't seen the night hub video in a while so you're probably right. But seeing as she has to gather resources for improving her weapons I wouldn't cross it out either.

Look at the beam with the rope where Lara is jumping, then look below her feet there is one of those other beams which doesn't have rope but has a round blue ring on it. At different levels. Hmmm...

I noticed that lara doesn't have that tool belt in the recent videos, I think it might be something we find during the game.
Maybe that's where the axe and torch goes when she is not using them ?

Nice, I didn't noticed that. I don't think the torch goes there, but ropes and some others could fit pretty well.

The ridges on the side wall under the platform look like they should be climbable to me and yet they don't appear to go anywhere, so maybe not.

It should lead up to a flat bit, I think (based on other screens). Though They don't seem too prominent, so I'd rather them not be climbable and so hidden away.
