All well and good, but by definition, soon is usually not that long, ie: months. Of course there's a difference between 'let's leave soon' ans the 'soon in reference to news on a game, but soon does mean with a short period of time, not a long period of time. Crystal D do seem to be stretching the limits of 'soon' and they keep saying it. They could try being a little more specific. Say, 'within the next 3 months' or 'in the Spring'. I can only assume that CD say 'soon' to cove their back in case something takes longer than they anticipate, but a rough estimate or even an exaggerated one would be a way keep people from assuming what is meant by 'soon', which appears to be an infinite amount of time, which it doesn't mean.
But less than a few months puts a definite time on the term soon so you sorta contradicted what you said. :p When did Crystal say soon anyway?

Oh December :/ I thought it was some time before E3 :/ Then I'd guess we could get something at the same time like the mag was out.

I can't remember, it was too long ago :p. No I'm being silly, but they have used that term a lot and quite frankly, it's a bit tedious. I'm sure they've used 'soon, to define when the next bout of news will come - a loong time ago.

I don't remember, but I just checked to EDGE mag and it was released in May as it is June issue.
