If i'm honest, Tomb Raider as a game is heading in the same direction as AOD now and they need to do something about it instead of making shortcuts for quick profit by creating a not so good Shadow of the Tomb Raider with endless DLC that is quite simply an overpriced joke when it could be made as an NPC mission for the main game itself at this point but I can tell you one thing and that is that the love for the franchise has gone in terms of the developers, Square has been careless towards a lot of games they have released as of late with a big drop in quality via splitting it all up to a half complete game with the other half as incredibly priced and pointless DLC.

I feel like this has been going on for years and people here are kinda ignoring it. Square has been mismanaging and mishandling their western division of games. So many of their recent games like Just Cause 4, Mankind Divided, and Thief have been rushed out the door and made incomplete. Deus Ex was deliberately cut up and released in an incomplete fashion for sequel baiting purposes.
Let's not forget Rise's exclusivity.

^ Wow, you singlehandedly funded the next TR game.

All I expect for E3 is Marvel/Avengers-focused stuff, maybe the 8th DLC announcement, and a potential DE for Shadow.

I’m also hoping for an announcement of classic remakes, but like others have said, it is very unlikely. I’m trying to stay somewhat optimistic about the possibility, nonetheless.

I think there’s a chance of DLC 8 to be announced at E3, in a small announcement. Like, SE will talk about their most recently released titles, their new strategy of a short time span between announcing and releasing, and how they release DLCs for their franchises to keep interest, etc., and they’ll say something like “in line with that, we’re proud to announce one last surprise DLC for SOTTR, and it will be the Croft Manor, where you’ll be able to explore and train, as an ode to the earlier Tomb Raider games. Hope you enjoy it!”

are you sure its me?

Like most people, I have no expectations of a TR show at E3.

I think the next game is a long ways off.

I have no interest in the Avengers full stop. Their films don't really appeal to me so I have no interest in the game no matter who makes it. I'm not a superhero kind of person.

Cue to the soon to come predictable comments:

"Ohh! Look at them! SOTTR is a pile of trash because they spend more time playing a board game instead of fixing their own mess! Pathetic!"
