Yeah, people can be very irritating sometimes.

Anyway, there was a schedule of unreleased changes. There wasn't much else to report, I guess.

My new guess is: Woops was hired by Aspyr for the future remastering of Tomb Raider 4 and 5.
He probably was. Here is an easter egg that mentions him:

I was hoping for someone to also notice it!

Tbh this has more tweaks than the remasters (not graphics related). I hope he joined the party. I'm most hyped for a TR4 remaster.

It was already the best looking classic TR game. Less blocky than others, so it has more chance to look like a modern game with graphics updates.

Imagine Angkor Wat, Alexandria... Damn. I can't wait and I hope it's happening.

I heard the reason TR4 looked much better was because it was developed separately for all platforms (PSX, PC, DC) instead of being limited by PlayStation hardware for PC versions, so it has things like bump mapping natively.

TR4 & 5 fan mods have real good options, but having more than Remasters is kind of a given because they don't have ANY options, I don't remember last time I played a game that doesn't let you change screen size or brightness, Wolfenstein 3D had it!

I guess I should post this here, considering I forked Troye's repo in Github and added my changes. Here is the release:

https://github.com/ultronubis/TOMB4/releases/tag/v2.3.0

The main change was adding mirrored (flipped) mode to the game. I will continue the versioning from Troyes' last release

I know that remasters have probably taken up almost all of modders' time. But it would be nice if at some point, they could update these fantastic mods for classic games.

Especially tomb4 mod, which is great. And it was almost ready, except for some bugs.

I am currently (re)playing the game with this mod, and so far, I didn't notice any game-breaking bugs. Even if I did, a save reload fixed the bug.

The bugs I experienced:

-In the level Tomb of Semerkhet, after opening the door which leads to the main area (with the mini-game), I got a Secret chime, and it confused me. Then, after pushing the right door in that room that ultimately leads to the area with the mini-game puzzle, I realized there are stairs in the main room which leads to some shotgun ammo and small medipack, which is the actual secret.
-In the same level, before going to the stairs in the flame room, I got an invisible closed door bug where I couldn't climb up via the left part of the stairs, but only via the right part.
-In the same level, after resolving the 3 flame switches, which drops down the right block to go to the next area, the block didn't want to open.

Every one of this bugs disappeared after I reloaded an earlier save.

I tried it for a few minutes and I have to say it's definitely a better experience than just applying the old widescreen patch. I wish it also fixed the font appearance, though.

Do you mean to add the PSX font? I think that's not possible yet. But you can fix the rest of the bugs using dgVoodoo2.
