I am a bit thrown back by the fact that the game has multiplayer, mainly because I just can't see how it would work. But if the game has MP then I do believe them when they say that the hubs are massive. Only time will tell if this will work out for Tomb Raider or not. MP could prove to be the ace up their their sleeve. I am still against it, because the graphics and gameplay will undoubtedly take a blow but at least we will be able to do more with the game after we finish playing it and while we wait for the next Tomb Raider.

What do hubs have to do with multiplayer? :pi:

I assume they would have multiplayer maps inspired by the different regions of the island, but I'm not sure they should re-use of that it would even be fitting or compatible to re-use hubs from the SP game.

I guess it depends what the objective of the different MP modes would be.

I'd love ziplines in MP though.

Just imagine how it would be to have multiplayer in restricted areas such as the path to the campfire in the deer hub. Although ideally I think that it would be best if they designed new areas exclusively for mp, wait that is what DLC is for :p.

Depends on what the MP is.

Usually match-based competitive and cooperative modes have very open and non-linear maps. As they're meant to be...sort of arenas with lots of flow.

But if it were some sort of story-based cop it could easily be quite linear.

Hence I prefer more match-based stuff as I get more freedom and find it more repayable.
