Because most free mobile games are heavily tailored towards making you pay for coins/currency to get ahead in the game. The Hogwarts Mystery is a good example. Whereas a mobile game you pay for (Like Lara Croft Go) doesn't have any currency and you just play it all.

That's not even what I'm worried about. I'm just imagining this auto-generated endless map style of game, where all we do is run around and collect gems and defeat enemies for points, while also competing with friends. That would be so lame. That's ok for like, our mums or something but I want a full adventure in this art style, with levels and with a beginning and an end.

Because free to play doesn't always bode well.

Hopefully they won't try to nickel and dime everyone.

Normally with free-to-play games on mobile they’ll include micro-transactions. So if you need keys, gems whatever you have to actually pay for them or grind hard to obtain them.

First tried it on PS4, and only downloaded it for mobile when Square gave it for free during the beginning (ages ago) of the pandemics.

The tone alone is not enough to satisfy me. I knew that whatever was coming was going to be classic oriented, but I didn't know it was going to be superficial and meaningless. These days I expected much more, I want a fully fledged Tomb Raider game, a true Tomb Raider game.
I most definitely wasn't expecting some lame mobile game that won't feed my hunger.
