Hmmm... Maybe Lara has this though. edit: The loading screens... http://www.tombraiderforums.com/show...0&postcount=27 |
That would be cool. Yeah I know it's in AC II and forward, but I don't know about the first one.
I can't find a video that shows this though... |
That'd be a cool loading screen. Probably get annoying every time you die though.

So I wonder if there are ...like a series of items we need to find in order to progress. Like power cells.
This sounds silly because we know there is gear gating...but will it always be random story-related items that allow us access to the next area? Maybe we have to collect a series of certain items to find other areas. I'm confused by this game but also content. I feel like I know how the game is going to play, but some aspects still confuse me and I still worry that the gameplay won't be as deep and full as I hope. But when I think of this game I can't help but think that this is going to be my favorite Tomb Raider game. I just need it to release already. |
If they don,t reduce time in loading screens I see advertisements in the meanwhile in the future.
Like take a Pepsi or you can eat some Pringles!!! |

I'm surprised this hasn't happened yet, but I'm sure someone somewhere has brought this up at a meeting. :pi: |

But not in games. Everywhere. How much can they pay for a logo bar screen loading?:p But I would like to see Lara doing different things on loading screens. |

Or a simply tomb raider logo. Maybe a clue for next game fase. |
Loading screen could be like Metal Gear Solid 4, where Solid Snake was smoking. I want something moving in loading screen. Would be great if Lara is doing something. Like probably acrobatic move or whatever. Assassin's Creed also let player to control the protagonist to move him however he/she can. :)

Lol
"What are doing sitting on your ass playing this amazing game without a nice crisp bottle of Coka Cola? Run to your local store and get some now before you continue your journey! Post Script: You may not continue your journey until you scan the bar code from your Coka Cola purchase." :pi: |

If anyone listened to the end of the podcast, Meagan said the new trivia contest will be at the 1st of May. Exciting. :p

I hope (and it seems so) that there is not a loading screen between every hub.
I'd assume the slightly more linear spaces between the hubs act as streaming for the next area. |

Oh, and am I the only one who sees lava happening near the end of the game?
Lava always appears near the end of games, and it seems like a game with diverse hub worlds would feature a hot hub, with lava. edit: Upon saying that I truly hope CD don't give away hubs in the game. As much as I want to know everything right now, I hope half of the game is a complete mystery. I want to be surprised when I come across a new hub. |

I hope the ending is as crazy and weird and unexpected Assassin's Creed endings. D:
But without the cliff hanger. |
^I wish I was part of the AC brigade and was emotionally invested in the storyline to witness such shocking endings.

I can see it now, the platforming is more about running and jumping, and we have to run and jump from crumbling piece of rock to the next, staying on one platform too long will cause the rock to crumble and melt into the flowing lava below! I want... - A beach Hub - A village hub - A steep mountain hub - a deep jungle hub - a watery hub Even though we can't swim, it would be nice to have a hub which is like...a dark hidden cove with tons of waterfalls and water to wade through and pieces of land and floating boxes to jump back and forth from. Hmmm... I think of how Jak and Daxter is said to be the best 3D platforming game on the PS2- ever. I wonder which game would be the best platforming game on the PS3 - ever? |

Like...it could just overflow with lava, and then sink into the ocean.... Wait... Would that do it? If the entire island was ...like...a volcano, and the island itself or something on the island was causing the force which pulls things to the island...then would triggering a volcanic eruption destroy the island, make it sink into the ocean and free the survivors to go home? Hmmm... Then nobody would have to even talk about the island or worry about it's mysteries being left behind, because it would all sink into the ocean. |
To be honest that's too predictable.
But CD have been known to be too predictable so I wouldn't doubt it. :/ And escape sequence similar, but much better than Uncharted 2 and 3 would be really cool though. EDIT. Some chase sequences would be awesome. Whether we're being chased or chasing someone/something. |
I don't want the island to disappear. I think it should stay and then it can become inhabited again.
|
^I either want it to stay, and they get rich and famous due to the discovery of the island and being able to solve it's mystery, or it sinks into the ocean and all that is left as we look back are pieces of crumbling and snapping rocks descending into the dark depths of the Pacific.

But...if they did leave the island the way it is...wouldn't they have to make a big deal about the fact that the island was full of crazy crap? Whereas if it just sank, they wouldn't need to worry. I liked the ending to Uncharted, with the breaking bridge, but UC3 did good by making it more about jumping (but something was totally off and messy with the UC3 ending). I think it could end like the E3 gameplay demo, with the breaking ground (they seem to love doing that with current tech, making things break). It's more intense when the ground is breaking below your feet though and you have to make rapid decisions based on which rocks you should stay on and which you shouldn't. The breaking bridge was really cool in GOL but it lasted like two seconds. |
Let's just hope the breaking rock sequence won't be a QTE like in Legend...

I definitely would like some sort of final boss. |

Lots of games have you running across breaking environments now...such giant breaking environments, I wonder how they do it. Quote:
With a strategy, but multiple ways of killing it. And the arena needs to be a big platforming arena where we run and jump to avoid the enemy but also have to focus on causing damage too. edit: Moved from another thread... Quote:

^ Yeah I definitely want combat and strategy involved.
But as I was saying Hans Zimmer is godly. And Robert W. Smith... |

Raiation could cause some strange things though, right? |
Quote:
We're probably completely wrong though.... I dunno. There seem to be a LOT of WW2 era relics around the island though. |
Quote:
I do think that maybe some technology or machinery could be causing the strange force around the island. |

9 days left of April....then we just have May to go before E3.
