Does anyone have the ROTTR/SOTTR Croft Manor Models?
 
I don't own the games on PC myself and am very interested in properly examining the full meshes and texture sets used for the Croft Manor levels in both Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, to create a full manor model.

Has anyone been able to extract them so far?

No reply is not an answer, the vast majority of requests in this section are just ignored or linked to posts with dead links. I thought I'd make this one a little more visible, and because I'd seen models from Rise and Shadow in XNA already, I believed there was a decent chance environment models were extractable, just that no one had a reason to grab those particular ones.

So seeing as you just posted a screenshot of a model from Shadow, can the manor maps be retrieved from those games?

Can you give me a link to it? It would be greatly appreciated if I could take a look at the models to see how others are porting these models, and it helps to know what's already there to avoid duplication, and to work together an create something even greater!!.

A small but important note, XNA is a framework by Microsoft to help to develop applications,

and not an application to display 3D models. So it is not possible to see models in XNA directly.

SOTTR models, like props and general assets, are extractable, just that, according to my knowledge, no one had share such a model.

The manor environment maps, like every scene mesh, can not be retrieved from Shadow, since the format is different and would require a separate importer . According to my knowledge, currently nobody had written such a tool.

BTW: "just" posted a XPS render of a model from Shadow? Just ??? It was a big effort to port the model. :(

Okay you seem to have mistaken my tone, I meant 'just' as in 'recently', not 'just' as in 'minimal'. Sorry if it offended you.

The Shadow model I saw was your one, when I said I had seen models in XNA I was mainly referring to ROTTR ones. I didn't mean to see off a tangent about terminology either. I don't frequent this section, nor know its tools very well so XNA for me was just shorthand for the posing studio program and pictures of extracted models I've seen online.

If Shadow's code hasn't been cracked yet for extracting environment meshes and textures into a readable format then that's fine. I have my query answered in regards to that game.

Are the Blood Ties maps and textures extractable into a viewable/editable format?

No worry, I am spirited, but hard to offend. (It's "just" my way of living and reacting; and "just" used in a BTW note, what for me is "like" using a Smilie Emotion ;) )

It's a shame, that currently nobody has ported Shadow to XNALAra or XPS :(

"Blood Ties" can be also a wording problem. "Deception IV: Blood Ties" is a Video game for PS, made by Tecmo Koei. So a request whether the models are to extract can lead in the wrong direction. ;)
I am sure you refer to the "Blood Ties and Lara's Nightmare" level of ROTTR. No idea if this is possible. I recommend to ask directly Gh0stBlade, or on ZenHAX (ZenHAX is "like" Xentax without "tax" and more "hacks"
). or on XeNTaX (dot com).

No, scene meshes require a separate plugin due to lack of interest in scene meshes I never wrote plugins to handle them for TR2.

Small update. The Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition PS4 mesh import script is now available.

This thread is now considered obsolete I do not have plans to update these scripts or release new ones. I am moving on from the Tomb Raider Modding/Community. Thank you for doing that research. Unfortunately Nico's manor is the classic manor and therefore not useful for a project that works on rebuilding the manor from the survivor timeline.

If we aren't able to extract meshes yet, is it possible to just grab the textures from the Blood Ties manor?

I made a Croft Manor in .obj format. It is based on TRL, TRA, and TRU models. It has the exterior and interior design, but a big WARNING to anyone, this Manor has a very high polygon count, therefore game engines like Unity will take HOURS to import. Anyway, I hope you got what you wanted.

It looks awesome ♥, I'm trying to import it in Daz Studio, do you think it's possible to import and use it in Daz? Also, what scale should I use (if you are familiar with Daz), if it takes 5 hours or so to import it would be convenient if it's the correct scale at once

Hey there. If you import this croft manor into blender and save it as a blender file, you will be able to import it in like 7 minutes compared to 3hrs of import

Edit: make sure you import .blend, not .obj
