I am having trouble once again. The plug-ins baratheon posted, don't show up in Blender, i tried going on the user preference thing, and when i select it nothing happens.

where did you place the files?

Xopax 20-01-15 22:22

Blender>2.73>scripts>addons

THOR2010 20-01-15 22:38

inside addons, u should have a folder named sapper, then with the files inside

I am having a problem, when i import the .mqo file in strpix, it's invisible, there's nothing , not even the collision box.

EDIT: nvm, i discovered blender exported the mesh much bigger than it was before.

I'm confused, the tutorial explain how to make a static object, but what if it's a moveable with multiple meshes? How do i import the textures in textureAdd, because when i do it, it Always replaces the first page, and what if one object has multiple texture files?

THOR2010 21-01-15 01:04

i think you have to do it one mesh at a time

Xopax 21-01-15 01:05

Like, one mesh per Wad? :hea:

THOR2010 21-01-15 01:57

you could always take all the meshes from yur movable, merge them together into one mqo mile, uvmap them and do the blender thing, then when the whole thing is back in stripix, separate the pieces. or just start out with a solid enemy then split it up afterwards

The problem is that the enemy have multiple .png files
I'm not lazy or anything (at least not too lazy) but i wish someday we could just import a uv textured object in strpix and it would do all the hard workd for us :p

Maybe some day! :p

There indeed are some limitations in this technique but even with the limitations it is way faster to create objects with it than using the old manual way. :D

Sapper and I are trying to get the multiple texture tile support for the technique but due my busy schedule I haven't been able to give all the necessary data for Sapper to progress on the matter.

Sorry for being so slow :o
