"Haters gonna hate".

You don't have haters, they don't exist.

It's essentially become a term for anyone who disagrees with you.

I did use "hater" jokingly on here a couple months ago, but I agree it's so over-used and yes it's annoying.

I think it sounds childish too and, for me, commenting on these "haters" has the opposite effect of what you intended. It shows you actually are bothered, not that you genuinely don't care.

Idk, there are haters, or there can be. You meet that unfortunate someone who is just disgusted with you and therefore possibly comes to hate you.

But, I do agree that some people use it way too freely over a disagreement like you said. It is a bit childish too, then.

I saw it in today's paper that Pamela Anderson has tweeted about the dangers of porn and PlayStation.

She tweeted empty head disease, porn and PlayStation we've lost many good men to this, GONE no return.

She also claimed that vegans make the best lovers, I've never been with a vegan so I can't verify her claim.

What she should also have tweeted was the many good women lost to keeping up with the Kartrashians, why would anyone want to be like the Kartrashians some clips of the Kartrashians were shown on Gogglebox Ireland with one of them complaining that her arm was tired from taking loads of selfies, the solution is simple stop taking so many :cen: selfies.

I always find it funny when people talk about the EVILS Of porn on men.

Some people will literally say it for every single thing they get criticized for. And those comments "I don't care at all what you think anyway hater" are even more ridiculous because everyone cares, to some extent, about the public's opinion. And them saying something like this only confirms that they do care, since they took a moment of their lives to respond to the comment and to try and defend themselves. The way opinions get oppressed these days because social justice warriors will jump on every thing you say is just sad. I do agree that some trolls are obviously hating and should get the flipflop out of your life, but not everything that differs from your opinion is therefore immediately hate.

I saw on Sky News a few minutes ago that some guy has said that social media needs to purge the internet of harmful content that promotes self harm and suicide.

Removing harmful content is a good idea but what I find stupid about the above statement is that he expects only the social media companies to do something about it, shouldn't Google and other internet service providers also be doing their part to remove harmful content.

Singling out social media companies and expecting them to be the only ones to purge the internet of harmful content isn't going to achieve anything, harmful content on the internet probably predates social media, so why should they be expected to be the solution to a problem that may well have existed before Facebook and Twitter came into existence.

A high school friend once said to me "hello! I'll greet you later!" and left. It's been over 10 years and I still don't understand what she meant.

Well yeah, she's named Laura, I don't get why everyone thinks otherwise.

A former friend of mine that I haven't spoken to for nearly 20 years had the nerve to tell me that I had to ask his permission before I could buy any games for my PS1.

I told him that wasn't going to happen and how would he like it if it was the other way around and he had to ask for my permission, I forget what he said after that but he never mentioned it again.

This was the same guy who went ballistic when I said I was getting a PS1, it was 1996 around the time the movie Independence Day came out when I had a go on his PS1 I quoted a line from the movie specifically the line I have got to get me one of these, he went nuts shouting at me I knew you would say that.

I told him that he didn't have a monopoly on all PS1's, that he wasn't the only person that could own a PS1 and that I didn't need his permission which I wasn't asking for to own a PS1.

Deciding to not be friends with him anymore was the best decision I ever made, he was and probably still is one of those people who you'd be walking on eggshells around him, the slightest thing would set him off, there was only ever one indicator that he was about to go crazy, he would say the word fine then all hell would break loose.

I have seen him a couple of times once through the window when he came home for his sister's wedding, I just happened to look out the window and see him, the second time was when he walked past while I was talking to his mother I glanced at him but didn't say anything to him.

Sometimes I think about getting in touch with him then I decide not to bother, if he hasn't changed in the almost two decades since I last spoke to him the last thing I would want would be to go back to walking on eggshells around him.

I saw on Sky News a while ago that prime minister Theresa May's spokesperson was quoted as saying teachers lesson plans have been disrupted in a segment about students marching against climate change.

That statement comes across as a bit whiny to me, it's hard enough to get young people involved in important issues and when they do get involved in important issues somebody complains that they should have stayed in their classrooms.

That reminds me a few years back when a guy took his kids school to court after they fined him for taking his kid on holiday during the school year a teacher whose name I've forgotten was quoted as saying they learn nothing out in the real world, I think the school was less concerned about this guy's kid learning stuff and more concerned about how the schools attendance record would appear to school inspectors if a kid was on holiday during the school year.

Learning isn't just confined to the classroom, you can learn stuff just by watching TV I've heard stories of people who saved someone's life by doing CPR that they learned from seeing it being done on TV.

You can learn things from anywhere, TV shows, movies, documentaries even computer games can teach someone something there have been questions on quiz shows that I've only known the answers to because I came across it in a computer game, I can't remember what all the questions where, I remember one recent one I think it was on Pointless name the video game in which Samuel L Jackson played a corrupt cop the answer GTA San Andreas.

I forget what the player said but they got it wrong.
