I had a lovely day so far starting with a German breakfast with Brötchen, Leberwurst, Meerrettichkäse und Pflaumenmus. Lots of phone and video calls from friends and family whom I have not seen for about two years now, cards and presents.
Steak, chips and a glass of wine (or two) yet to come.
