Also remember to run the Multipatch, which I think is applicable to the GOG version too.

I just did a quick Google and I suspect I won't be allowed to post a link to the GOG forum here but if you search: "A note about TR2 on Windows 10 GOG" there is a thread there and a solution about what sounds to me like the same Win 10 problem AnEntireAmazon is having.
