This thread is extremely confusing. Which game are you talking about? And which level?
"Angel of Death" makes me think you're talking about Angel of Darkness, and from the thread title I assume you want to know how to do a "short" jump. It's not possible to do a short jump in the firsy 5 games, but in Angel of Darkness you can press Walk + Jump + Forward to perform a short jump.
