Just don't expect another Rocky Horror and you'll be fine. If you do just stop watching it altogether, give it a week to accept the different direction and give it a second watch after a week or so. My first viewing I thought it was boring and dull. But it really grew on me after accepting it's got nearly nothing to do with Rocky except for a few names and a couple of amazing references. Although on the DVD due to the wrong Aspect Ratio (1.85:1 instead of 1.66:1) one is nearly invisible because it cuts more than half the text and the only reason that I know is because of a fan site...
Personally I think it's the better of the two in the music aspect, just overall Rocky clearly had the better production. At least that didn't have compromise after compromise to make that film...
