I think heritage brands do better overseas. Like Resident Evil and so forth.

I'm expecting Uncharted to have really good promotion, considering they're backed by Sony. The main thing going against it is the fact that... well... no ones really asking for this movie. I'm pretty sure most people are expecting it to fail. The constant delays have already put it in a pretty negative light.

Tomb Raider (2018), on the other hand, actually has a growing reputation as one of the better video game movies in a time where video game movies are being seen in a better light.

TR and Alicia Vikander are TT in Spain because the spanish television schedule TR 2018 tonight.

I read on twitter and almost all the opinions are positive (People seeing the movie for the first time and they enjoying it). Of course TR2018 was a solid product. I think these television broadcasts can help the sequel have a larger audience around the world.

If they hadn't already started getting in some serious pre production time or being able to work from home and conference then there could be a delay going into the summer I guess.

Hopefully they have a team assembled by now and are still on track for 2021. Maybe this is why we haven't heard of any delays yet.

So, they will shoot in LA? That's odd... I thought it was supposed to take place in Cape Town again... Anyway, it's great to see this

1st of June, huh? Hopefully they can stick to that. Maybe the LA location is down to travel restrictions?

Most of you's can't even go anywhere besides the grocery store and you think their gonna jam 150 people and an uninsurable in these times Oscar Winner in a studio... It is good to see though that MGM is moving forward as Michael DeLuca is closing a lot of deals on ORIGINAL content lately I was afraid they were gonna stop franchises.

DeLuca is a REALLY good producer to have on a project like this.
