The Particle testing ground for FLEP's emitters has always interested me - as confusing as it can be hahaha

Has anyone ever come across any specific tutorials about this that may not appear in generic internet searches? A variety of keywords could be used lol. I've seen the tutorial here which explains what each setting achieves

I'm sure im not the the only one who's entertained it but - I imagine these emitters could possibly be used to imitate dust specs/dust in the air around Lara. If that's not really the idea of it all - then I'll give it up haha

I'm mainly using them for water effects, like particles falling down a waterfall, new waterfall mists, etc. Different particle effects along with the object waterfalls and streams.
But I've also used it for creating gas coming from a crack in the wall.
And dust particles falling through a hole in a ceiling.

The current BtB also uses it for a strong wind effect.
Loreraider and TheTiger are using it for dust blowing across the desert.

If you want little effects like Lara's footsteps causing dust when running on dry sand for example, then the TRNG AddEffect= script is the way to go.

I know this is the FLEP thread, but I can't find a TREP thread.

Could anyone explain how to get outside rain working with TREP?
From what I've read up, you need to go into the flipeffect editor and type in this command:

But that leads to this error message:

Also I'm not sure how to mark a room as outside in Tomb Editor... I don't see an option - in the old editor you just have to select the 'O' button.

Does it include Woops' patch? (I.e. is it enough if I share only one link in the OP?)

Wrong thread for this, but with TE you can now independently choose to mark a room as "windy" (aka make Lara's braid sway) and/or show the sky & horizon. So you can have "outside rooms" without wind and "inside rooms" with wind.

To show the sky & horizon you have to check the Skybox box
To mark the room as "windy" you have to check the Wind box

This was possible before TE actually: Winroomedit's "O" (outside) button is the equivalent of the Wind button of TE. Having the skybox enabled in the room was separate, it was implied as long as you had at least one face in the room with a color instead of a texture.

Latest patches:Under specific circumstances, it is possible to see sprites flickering all around the screen. For example, in Playable Tutorial Level:

The purpose of these new patches is to fix this bug.

*TR2 Lara voice* The true Dettox of evil.

Thanks to Kevin, whose test level was very useful for my research!
