And so for the first time, three years have passed since the last release without any official word on the next game or it's release. I sure hope it's all worth it and that we get a grand TR game next year or maybe a surprise project.

I’m glad they are taking their time. I have a feeling the next game is going to blow us away (I hope)!!! I loved Shadow, but I wish they just took a bit more time with it to polish it more and make the story more cohesive.

On another note: When Lara snapped! Still one of the best moments in the game!!!

Yeah. It's gonna be big this time. The unification is the reason they're taking things very seriously this time around.

shadow's biggest issues are intentional design so i doubt any more development time would've made any difference

Worst thing about shadow's world is that the 7 challenge tombs are not physically connected to the open world. 5-6 out of 7 of these tombs have no way back to the base game map. Lara just uncovers the stele, you get a useless skill and there's just a 2 sec awkward silence standing there and then a loading screen to summon lara back into the actual game world freeing her from the dream she was having minutes ago.

Yeah I really disliked this about Shadow.

About all the Survivor games actually. In some cases when she travels from hub to hub she often does so in a BOMBASTIC way leaving ruins behind and no actual way of returning.

I think this was a really dumb way of setting up the map because I personally think fast-travelling in games is extremely immersion-breaking and therefore I prefer not to use it.

Either make the game actually open-world or go back to the Classic multiple separate level sctucture.
