Did you notice the stamina bar in that video? It has a grey color.
And what's more, it fills up not just when sprinting but while she's walking around and using ladders. Maybe it wasn't tuned up at the stage but who knows... Also notice how Lara turns her head to look at things, maybe items too. |

Endurance bar? Never heard of it
I found this video on IGN youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6otnkL8OiYU It seems to be the beta version. There is no grey bar here but there is a small circle next to the health bar that fills up with red every time Lara is running. It seems to fade when she's standing still and when she's going up the stairs ![]() I'm going to look into this a bit more |

That's just the corridor Carvier goes into to call the police.
Interesting video. The pistol textures are definitely better, and she retains the shotgun on her back during the cutscene. I like that her head turns to look at things, too (00:58 - 01:12). This is only retained in the final game in The Strahov Fortress where Lara says "That's not any script that I know."

Oh, you're right! I completely forgot that one. Still, interesting to see with different textures...
Well, I'm only guessing and makes sense to me. The grey bar slowly gets filled up, whenever Lara was sprinting. When she stopped, that bar got drained in an instant. That could mean, she was able to sprint for a limited time only.Which could be expanded with upgrading strength... I watched the video, that you've linked. I find interesting that flashing red dot below the health bar; It stopped flashing while Lara was fighting the guard... |

So much commotion about the Japanese dubs
![]() The weapon damage increase is the SOLE change to the JP versions of every TR game bar TR1 and AOD. No extra items or less enemies. 1 extra room in TR1 as it's a difficult trap room. It's not too difficult to comprehend. What is it..6 x2pistol shots to kill a wolf. Unrealistic. The classic tomb raiders were very difficult compared to most other games out there Japanese or not. I prefer playing the JP versions because of all of this. Evens out the shooting and platforming better

Is it just a debug overlay to show Lara's speed or something? It seems like the bar gets fuller when Lara gains speed. Or was there specific function planned to it?
