GOLD Editor! Merge all programs in ONE.
I work on 3dsmax. Strpix rev18 put a .3DS import. so I make something in 3Dsmax, and I export as .3DS. I import it in strpix. the model is good, but the textures are horrible. it doesn't support UVW. With Strpix I can change the vertices ID connection (for the skin joints). so, my problem is textures. with Wadtool, I can import .3ds and .obj, the textures are nice but the vertices connection are lost, and smoothing groups are gone. and wad2 doesn't works on Strpix... I am making models for TR4 HD of Roli, and it's pitty, I can't do anything to import correctly a model. Maybe someone should merge all these programs in one. Everyone ll be happy forever. This was originally posted in the TRLE chat, but I've since changed my to wad to a wad2 file, so I thought posting here might help.
Okay everyone. I seem to keep having this problem.. When I go to the switch manager and change the 'Big Pull Switch' to 'Small Pull Switch' the game crashes when Lara tries to pull the switch.. I have no idea why this keeps happening, I seem to have fixed it a couple times in the past as I remember having this problem then too, although I don't remember how to fix this. Any help would be much appreciated! |

Wadtool
You should make an "export" button here too,
and another to "replace connected vertices". It ll be perfect. Last edited by Zellphie; 08-01-20 at 22:21. |

Dev team is aware of all functionality of other TRLE tools and is aware that a lot of people want all these functions in TE/WT.
However, it won't happen for now. Currently Monty and all the guys who contributed to TE and WT are totally consumed by TR5Main development. So don't expect any new functionality in forseeable future. |

I saw that there is an update in the sticky thread, and that it now comes with an installer. I was just wondering, though...Does the installer come with an automatic update function? Or do we need to download future updates manually anyway?
EDIT: another question. The installer requires me to already have installed Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 on my pc. Do I have to install the original .NET Framework 4.5 from the microsoft website or does the Windows Update "Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5, 4.7.2 and 4.8 for Windows 10" suffice? PS: I'm asking this because I recently switched to Win10 and I am re-installing the TE again. Last edited by Gancian; 18-01-20 at 09:15. |

Autoupdate function is pending for a long time now, it just wasn't finished and tested properly. So I guess it will happen in next TE versions, probably that ones targeting TR5Main
I don't think that you need specific .net framework version, MS should have managed it for you if you've just installed fresh Windows release |

This is correct. .NET 4.X is built to work backwards, and windows will only allow one version of it on your computer. If your windows 10 came with .NET 4.8 like mine did, then you're all set.

.TR4 (wad2) + OpenLara, Now compatible!
Hi! I asked to Xproger if he could convert .TR4 files (with wad2)
for OpenLara, he did it in one night! ^^ Now you can open your .TR4(wad2) files in the web version of OpenLara. You can explore your buggy levels (without interaction). It's just to see the next gen effects in your level. It's pretty cool ! maybe one day it ll be 100% compatible. Last edited by tlr online; 20-01-20 at 21:03. Reason: Image removed.
