Update. I am done with the 3D printing, & now will be setup my workshop aka the dining table for painting.

It was printed in 4 pieces due to to the size & join together via fitting LongPins & Longholes.
It was designed with small gaps between the pizzas but its necessary evil to prevent fitting issues. However, it can be fix with putty modeling clay etc. But I will use miniature grass & sand to cover the ground so the seam will be gone. I suggest that (use miniature grass or sand as ground cover) for everyone that downloads the final 3D print (when available soon)base as well, but you do you.

Testing Lara model fitting to the support pins. I finished priming (Army Painter uniform grey) the Lara model hence it's a different color.

Thanks all for the kind words.

I got a little more done on Sunday, but I am going on a Holiday end of this week, & have lots of work to do before the trip, but will have 4 extra off days (after my trip) to work on the project full time.

Its pretty fun to paint, & my painting skill have picked up a little after my last Captain Marvel project.

ecide to try out/practice the miniature grasses I bought for the base. Pretty happy as a first-timer. It was fun but messy.
The grass was flying everywhere, & I have to do a lot of cleanups.

The tree was not as nice, due to the leaves, but there is always the next time.

I am fairly certain how I will lay out the grass for the actual base. I will try to record the process. It will be so fun.

Final update before my Holiday to Paris Tomorrow. Will be back next Monday & the week off as well to hopefully finish off the painting.

Thanks. That's not the final detail base though.

Its actually the basic base but I planted the tree at one of the leg pin, so it cannot be used for Lara.

It's mostly a learning process to get some experience to using miniatures grass & making trees.

Its my first time, but I did watch a lot of diorama building videos on youtube, & picked up some tips, from the experts.
