Web version was updated!
Added bunch of new bugs and features like soundtracks (try to play GYM level), mipmapping with anisotropic filtration, fade in-out for sounds, flipmap trigger support etc. :) Last edited by XProger; 01-09-17 at 04:55. |

Did you finally find the trigger points in the levels for the sounds? From what I'm aware Tomb Raider 1 is the only one that had the sound embedded in the level files, along with AI and other things. There's still a lot of miscellaneous bugs from a few of the levels. In Tomb of Qualopec the pillars you jump on move when you pull the switches but the collision detection stays where they originally were (invisible pillars). Fast Forward to 4 minutes. |

Just odds and ends need work.
I'm assuming you'll do something like a level stop that then renders given stats like pressing "H" does for help. Levels all follow certain sets of rules or is there unusual patch work in some of the files? In the colosseum level I ended up getting 2 Pierre's after visiting 2 different corners. Enemies randomly roam and their trigger for being dead is to just stop and move side to side. lol Seems like you have most stuff down, the pain is just going through all the levels and finding nuanced bugs and little unique things that may only appear in a level or two (I would assume). Not belittling at all. In my opinion reverse engineering (at least for high fidelity) is a lot harder than doing thing clean from the ground up. Love the inclusion of music though now. The thing that always really drew me into Tomb Raider was the soundtrack. BTW, Nathan McCree (the original Tomb Raider 1-2-3 composer) has scheduled a record session for Abby Road 1.5 months from this post. I pledged to the Kickstarter and am looking forward to it. I still think you should start a Patreon. Last edited by andrewsyc; 02-09-17 at 06:39. |

andrewsyc,
Thanks for video, I fixed some bugs but LEVEL3B still not playable yet. Level file doesn't contain soundtracks (only short samples), so they downloaded automatically from host when it's needed. |

Ah yes, for now OpenLara starts with title screen. GYM, LEVEL1 & LEVEL2 are available from the passport option. Saved games will be soon.

Ohh I like this too. It feels so much more complete with a menu.
