Hello everyone,
We have recently managed to get these E3 2003 levels running on retail PS2 AOD and it's now ready to be released ![]() Huge thanks to Gh0stBlade for helping me get these levels running! Included levels:
The game will start with the Serpent Rouge and transition to the next E3 Level when the level ends, cheats aren't required. Additional info about this release:
Make sure your PS2 language is set to English otherwise you will most likely run into issues! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KAG4qeKlBSM Downloads: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1PVD...ew?usp=sharing - (has slow running like in the retail game) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1U4f...ew?usp=sharing - (has fast running like in the early versions) |

This is fantastic, thank you for sharing.
I saw someone on YouTube recently playing some beta levels. I wonder if they were the same? ![]() Anyway, it's rare to get any beta information from this game... Thanks a bunch. ![]() ![]()

THE NOSTALGIA! This game had it all man. I remember the smell of the airconditioned air in the summer time playing this game in my room. It was so close to being complete, they were robbed! I love this community. So many talented genius people coming out with new connections to all our childhoods everyday. I'm amazed at what TR fans can do.

Nice, and thank you for you both!
I'm glad to know hat that switch had to do, also I can definitely understand why that gundrop cutscene went unused. It's interesting tough, that there are more Strahov guards, than in retail; I guess that's for demo purposes, still they seem to be a tiny bit more smarter, than in retail. There are two things, that I noticed and I have to check, if it's the same in the retail versions (and one of them is not a bug): 1.: When I first entered the dancefloor, there were two guards. I gunned down one, then started to shoot at the other, while I was moving behind the crates. Now, Lara was still aiming at the place where she last seen the guard; while the guard was running towards the boxes -where she was- but from the other side. What's interesting, that it looked like she was expecting the guard to come at front of her, insted of the other side. Her aim only changed, when she saw the guard again. It may have been a bug tough... 2.: Don't know if it's just sprites, or actual game physics: when she drops into a large body of water , it seems she creates large waves at the point of impact. I haven't noticed this in retail, thus I have to check it. If it's not just a 2D sprites, then it's safe to say AoD was really ahead of its time. Again - just in case - I'm going to verify , just to be sure. Finally I find it interesting, that they prioritized changing a color of an item , rather than try to polish the game further in their last 3 months. I mean, inconsistencies with spawning points, with locations etc. ; or missing effects and the list could go on... My only wish now is to see an official enhanced version of the game, because the treatment it got in the last 6-7 years, it changed a lot! Oh, and the missing eye movents would be great too! (I know, I'm like a broken record at this point; I'm just desperate to see all the cutscenes in their intended way.

So are the blood effects and bullet holes in the wall a thing exclusive to this demo or just the PS2 in general? Because I swear I've never seen them on PC.

PS2 in general. The E3 demos are loaded into the final version of the game so these effects are in retail too.
