Yes it was the same for me, but even after setting it back to 10 I still have no sound whatsoever :/

Edit: Fixed it myself, i had to enable a different sound adapter for it in the launch setup.

Hi, I have an issue with sounds too. I can play the game only if disable the sound adapter from the menu, else tomb3.exe will crash. I have a Steinberd UR22 MKII external sound card with proprietary ASIO drivers.

Keep the empty sound adapter selection in the setup window, don't manually choose one. if the problem persists let me know

@UniMatrixXB regarding your saves, they'll work, you just gotta move them to the new saves folder. I'll add a note about this in the usage guide

Try an older version 2552
And change the videocard to ATI Radeon 8500
This worked for me
I was always getting a white screen and I tried the tips of the members here, it did not work until I changed the settings of the graphics card to AMD, even though my card is Nvidia

Only problem was, that as I said, TR3 doesn't support anything higher than 1920x1440. I have a 2560x1440 monitor and even though you can select it in the "-setup", it will fail to initialize.

hey there, I'm loving the project so far, it really brings so many improvements to this game!
I am having an issue with running the game in full screen mode. When I try to, the game just opens the first title screen and then shuts itself before getting to the cutscenes and main menu. Is anyone else having this issue?


Btw I wanted to congratulate you on smoothing out Lara's moveset. The slide-to-run animation was something I never knew I needed until now hahaha
That got me thinking, is it possible at all to allow Lara to pick up items without having to completely stand still? I think it'd be wonderful if we could just run onto an item and press action and she picks it up!

did you run the setup at least once like the usage guide says?

The pickup thing is unfortunately impossible, Lara lacks the needed animations.
Regarding your crash issue, can you give me some more details? did you follow the use guide to install?

tomb3 V1.6.0 is out now!

This is mainly a bug fix release, both original and tomb3 bugs

First, we fixed that pesky bug where Map rooms didn't update while Lara was using a vehicle, it's all good now!

We also restored the intended colors for the boss explosion rings! That is, red for Tony, blue for Puna, and the original bluegreen for Sophia and Willard, now all the rings match their shields.

While on the topic of boss explosions, the horrible clipping is finally fixed. No you weren't tripping when you thought they clipped badly, they really did here's a video showcasing it

(and yeah, that odd color on the rings was also fixed )

We also fixed the location loop bug in NG+, and fixed some issues with Lara's "crawl to hang" animation, fixing a few softlocks.

For new stuff, now DOZY removes fire from Lara
also, we made PSX shadow (only PSX shadow for now) and the footprints tilt with the floor they are on


This isn't perfect and the shadow might bug on more extreme terrain though, especially when its size gets bigger than usual, that's to be expected.

Found an issue with the ps1 shadow (or one that's just affecting me). It does not follow Lara when pushing blocks. Shadow behaved correctly in the previous build.
