So I downloaded dgVooDoo and now the game won't even make it to the logo screen before crashing 😭
There must be some way of getting it to run when you all have magaged it?!

Make a shortcut to the tomb3.exe with the -setup parameter and always start the game with it. Here's how my dgVooDoo settings are: ![]() |

Still not working. It got to the title menu for a split second, saw the line had gone then it crashed and exited. Now, every time I run it it's not even getting that far, just crashes immediately. As a sanity check I also tried these settings on my working GOG copy of TR3 and that didn't work either
The only thing I can think of is getting an .exe without the setup parameter as no matter what I've done since the multipatch it always opens to setup. As a side note and just to make things that little bit more interesting; I uninstall and delete everything, make sure there is nothing visibly left in Program Files or anywhere else, then double click the .iso and the game runs as though it was installed (before crashing at the title) when surely it ought to show me the install screen. 🙃 I'm beginning to think if I ever want to get this running again and avoid any issues coming up that I might be aware of its going to have to be a total wipe of my system and fresh install.

I suggest using a real uninstaller like Revo or similar. But for now run the regedit.exe and check if you have any registry entries left in: Code:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall Code:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE |

I'm thinking this is going to be the only way, I don't know what its done, and since its proving very diffcult to remove I don't know what it might still be doing. At least with the PC being brand new there isnt a lot stored on it to lose! I will look at doing that once I've done a fresh install

I think you might be interested in this post here
The tomb3 project now supports The Lost Artefact natively. I think this should solve your problems, I know it solved mine. Make sure to read the instructions on how to install it. It's pretty simple, but it requires Tomb Raider 3 to be installed too. Also make sure to use it in conjunction with dgvoodoo2. Let me know if it works out for you. ![]()
