Talking This is the first time I knew this!

While playing Tomb Raider 4, I discovered something surprising for the first time! I didn't know you could actually kill the final boss. While playing New Game Plus with the boss health bar option enabled, I noticed the boss had a health bar. When I shot at him, he exploded. I seriously had no idea about this before! Every time I beat the game, I did it without killing the boss and without losing any health.

Anyway, I'm planning to start a new thread for all of you while I replay the PS5 version of Tomb Raider 4. I’ll be showing you all the health pick-ups and their locations during my New Game Plus playthrough. Stay tuned!

That's cool. Is this new in the remaster? 'Cause I thought you couldn't kill him in the original

Set can't be killed in the original game. The only option is escape to the top of the level and seal the trap door leading down from where you came from.

Yes, Seth is a mandatory kill now on NG+, you can't even progress further without killing him

That explains why I didn't see the health bar on my first playthrough. So it's only in NG+, I see

My apologies guys. Upon repeating everything in PS5 I can't kill him not until replaying in NG+

You can make him do a cool backflip if you shoot him with revolver ammo. This was possible in all versions of the game. I’m surprised they didn’t make this an achievement.

They really dropped the ball with coming up with some good achievements.

It's a good idea.

"Make Seth do 5 backflips"
"Kill the Minotaur with the side-car"

I blame Sony who forced them to slow down with achievements
