The Losers have all grown up and gone their separate ways, but are compelled to return to Derry when they hear that Pennywise the Dancing Clown has returned to feast on the children of Derry.

Cast:

-Bill Skarsgård as Pennywise the Dancing Clown
-James McAvoy as Bill Denborough (Jaeden Lieberher as young Bill for flashbacks)
-Jessica Chastain as Beverly Marsh (Sophia Lillis as young Bev for flashbacks)
-Bill Hader as Richie Tozier (Finn Wolfhard as young Richie for flashbacks)
-Jay Ryan as Ben Hanscom (Jeremy Ray Taylor as young Ben for flashbacks)
-Andy Bean as Stanley Uris (Wyatt Oleff as young Stan for flashbacks)
-James Ransone as Eddie Kasparak (Jack Dylan Grazer as young Eddie for flashbacks)
-Isaiah Mustafa as Mike Hanlon (Chosen Jacobs as young Mike for flashbacks)
-Jackson Robert Scott as Georgie Denborough
-Will Beinbrink as Tom Rogan
-Xavier Dolan as Adrian Mellon
-Jess Weixler as Audra Denbrough
-Teach Grant as Henry Bowers (Nicholas Hamilton as young Henry for flashbacks?)

Filimg began on Monday 18 June, with James McAvoy posting a picture on Instagram confirming this. The film is due to release September 6, 2019.

Filming's already begun? I thought it was July they start filming!

He's not bald haha. Nevermind!

They won't change Stans fate. It's a huge plot point and they've all acknowledged it.

I feel I should have made myself a bit clearer. In the original story, yes Stan committed suicide but if they follow the story exactly, Stan will kill himself within the first twenty minutes. I think it could be jostled around a bit.

I wonder if Pennywise will put Mike out of commission himself as there's likely no Henry Bowers to do it.

They might take Henry out altogether and have Tom Rogan take over as Pennywise's puppet. He follows Beverly into Derry, where Pennywise takes over in the novel If i remember correctly. I feel like his subplot was a bit wasted in the novel and he felt like an afterthought with Henry Bowers in the mix too, only to die before even reuniting with Beverly.

I always remember the B' Side as being pretty boring though. Do they have enough material to pull this off? Either way, I'm stoked for this.

They did change a lot for the first part, so I'm sure they can do well for the second.

I'm anxious to see how Bill does the Library scene though, given that's one of the more memorable moments from the miniseries just because of how crazy Tim Curry got.

I wonder if they will be able to fit in that 'prequel' scene into the second film too.

Henry's casting is brilliant, Audra's has left me a bit disappointed. They better give her auburn hair. She looks more like Dakota Johnson than Jessica Chastain.

Figured that Henry survived once I read the script for Part 1. The casting has been practically spot on so far.
