But I can use either Set Floor or Set Ceiling, the result is the same. So what is the special button "Set Ceiling" used for?

Thanks for any explanation.
Only thing I can think of is if you have stacked rooms with portals?

Thats what I thought as well, but it doesn't make squares visible between two portals.

At least, not in my tries.

That button it's made for "clearing" ceiling diagonal steps, as well as floor one

Is it somehow possible to apply the reflection/wave effect to imported geometry like with statics?

Default Pls

I know I have asked this before but I am still having bother. Has anyone had any luck using the PLS with Tomb Editor? Feel like I am banging my head against a wall here. I have tried and tried and tried but still can't getting it working.

I followed the tutorial for the PLS. I have managed to get it working in a sense that the light comes on automatically. But the use flare to turn on and all simply does not work. It does activate the sound sample to indicate it being switched on and off but the light still stays on 🙁.

Maybe I am doing this all wrong..

To export the trigger in Tomb Editor required for the PLS. I click on the tile that Lara is on. Choose Trigger, ActionNG then the object as Lara. Followed by the effect remove from enemy. I then copy the we export values into my script where the tutorial tells me to.

I also do the same for the effect add to enemy.

The tutorial says to set the trigger type to Action48. Maybe I am missing a step here?

Any help with this would be really really appreciated.

Thank you all.

It means you have to select the Action trigger with ID 48.
The tutorial was written with NGLE in mind (because it was the only TRNG editor available at this time), and only mentioned the ID of the trigger (could have been referred as A48 as well), without the description of the trigger. With NGLE there is a Find Trigger Button that allows searching for a trigger by its ID, in this case by typing A48, and the ID is also displayed in the title bar of the trigger window.
Unfortunately Tomb Editor doesn't have that yet, and only shows the description.

To find the trigger yourself when you don't have its description, like in this case, you need to open NGLE, open the trigger window, hit the Find Trigger button, and type the trigger ID (A48). It will select the trigger. Then hit the Export trigger button, and copy paste the description into the corresponding search field of Tomb Editor's trigger window.

In this case, A48 is this trigger:
Code:
; Set Trigger Type - ACTION 48
; Exporting: TRIGGER(48:0) for ACTION(0) {Tomb_NextGeneration}
; <#> :
; <&> : Effect. Add to <#>Enemy the (E)AddEffect from script.txt <- this is the string you have to copy-paste
; (E) :
; Values to add in script command: $4000, 0, $30

@Joey79100 I can not thank you enough for taking the time to explain this.

I had really been struggling with this and felt so stupid torturing people with this.

Thank you again!

I really really appreciate it

I keep getting this message when adding samples with Sound Tool, even though the files are in the correct paths:

Ugh, sorry for that. There was inverted condition check for that dialog Strange that nobody reported this earlier.
It will be fixed in next version.
