Man! I hope they don’t disappoint.
I’m really hoping for: Stuff I’ve already seen + some fan art in the form of a YouTube video. Do you think they’ll be able to deliver? I don’t wanna get my hopes up too high. |

Japanese flash game has caught my eye! Not on either two of my PCJ copies of AOD from EA and EidosJP. I'm guessing a website rip? Cool! Would love to try it
Nevermind- got it! Last edited by mizuno_suisei; 04-07-21 at 06:54. |

What I love so much about this month already is how much noise the fans and stans have made about AoD. We're 4 days in and all I see on Twitter is love and positivity about the game, this is how the community should be all the time
I've also seen people who haven’t tried it since 2003 (or at all) have actually picked it up to play and been pleasantly surprised that it isn’t as bad as some would have them think. The exaggeration of AoD being one of the worst games that was ever made is such an eye roll and it doesn't deserve that reputation. Also graphically it's one of the better looking games on PS2 imho. |

It shows a complete lack of respect or consideration towards the consumer. Releasing a game they know isn't finished because all they're interested in is how many units they can sell. The fact that it's something gamers still tolerate is sickening. If they were having development issues, that was their problem to deal with and pay for, not ours.

The practice of releasing unfinished game was and is still sickening, I can agree with that. But this game was released in this state and the company who made it dissolved shortly after. Why shouldn't we see the positive the game has to offer? Yes, it's incomplete and clunky, but the art style was amazing and Lara's characterization especially was top notch. I prefer not to hate on it for the failures some CEO made years ago, but rather try to enjoy the fact, that we at least have something salvaged from this mess.

I still wish someone could convince Murti to write sequel novels. I know I'd happily pay alot of money to make that happen.
AOD is my favorite Tomb Raider. The story was so great and ahead of it's time that it makes up for all the negative things about it. For me story is the most important part of a game but I know alot of people feel differently. Can't wait to see more this month!! |
