Yeah, the problem is I really like Michael Crichton's writing style. Another issue is I've lost my former confidence for writing fics. Perhaps sometime down the road I'll get it back. For now, I'm hanging it up. Thank you Rai and Amunet for inspiring me to try again. Just for now I'm not interested in writing fics.

In a nutshell, my idea was Lara finds the artifacts that Perseus couldn't get to. She discoverers that she has a destiny to be the next guardian and wielder of a pair of mystical tools more ancient than the civilization of Atlantis. A cult tries to resurrect Tihocan and winds up reanimating his corpse which has disastrous results. Lara has to destroy Tihocan's corpse. At the end I had planned on having Lara attend Von Croy's funeral and ponders what her future will be as the new guardian of the ancient mystical tools.
