My cousin wants to finish the game but she doesn't even know ow how to press the switch to open the door of Lara's house.

Have your cousin cycle through the buttons on the controller. If she's using a PC then have her press the buttons on the keyboard assigned to the game.

She might become more comfortable with the game and its controls if she was to practice more and receive guidance from you. I personally am a slow learner with most things; it takes a fair bit of time and practice before I show signs of starting to get the hang of things.

Many people who don’t play video games think that when the camera moves, the controls should follow the camera's direction. They assume you need to press the button that matches where the camera is pointing, rather than the direction the character is actually moving. Okay if it's "tank" controls then she should use the d pad to line up with the switch that opens the door then press the action button. Have her press all the buttons on the controller if it doesn't work.

The camera direction may change very quick and frequent. It will be a chaos if the control is decided by the camera direction.
