You can already do this. In user CP there are options to limit your VMs and your profile to people you friend only.

It limits your profile?? I thought it just blocked VMs. What else does it hide?

Taking a second glance you can also block PMs from people who aren't on your friend list too.

I'd quite like a separate fan fiction forum and a policy to encourage new TR fan fiction authors/creators. But the status quo is also fine.

I'd like to see a feature embedded into Tomb Raider forums. If you want to add a picture to a post. While typing your post, Tomb Raider forums users can click on upload image after the Tomb Raider forums will, with code, automatically create the image in a by Tomb Raider forums acceptable and compatible format.
