Wow.. really looks like this TR5 project is gonna be the definitive TRLE version.
Loving those extra underwater bubble effects too.. reminds me of TRAE

Those look really good! My only real nitpick would be that the splash sprite should take on the ambient lighting of the room but I suspect that's sth you were still going to add, anyway.

news:
- Updated Dynamic Shadow to DX11 (fixed shaders).
- Changed "almost" all effect behaviour (thank to Raildex ), not all.
like the footstep, many bubbles when going water (anniversary) etc...
- Moved many variables like Objects to dll, now basically you can have 2048 object a new objects.h is already created but tombeditor TrCatalog.xml is not updated yet :'(
- Fixed many bugs.

Development news

TR5Main is actively developed. Game logic was almost entirely decompiled, I miss just 20 functions. The other big beast is camera (a dozen of functions) and some other functions around there that we'll decompile if needed.

In a couple of weeks we'll start a deep test of each entity, one by one. We'll clean TR5 specific game hacks (there're a lot) commenting them, because all this stuff we'll be done in LUA.

Raildex is now rewriting parts of my renderer for making it more efficient and adding some new effects

ChocolateFan and TokyoSU are decompiling functions and fixing bugs.

From the first month of tests, we have levels that are 50% playable. In many cases this is due to TR5 specific hacks that we have cleaned. But we don't worry becasue TR5Main is targeted for level building and so we don't need code like "if (CurrentLevel ==4 && CurrrentRoom == 243 && something else".

Lara is working very well, almost 99% of her moves are working in game.

After finishing testing entities, we'll port missing TR4 ones and we'll write a new file format for the game.
