I loled.

Chloe was really irritating and way too try hard, the twist of who the killer is was stupid, and the writing was often like some crappy after school special + F words.

I'm excited, but wary. I enjoyed the first one until the very end. Like everyone else, I hated Chloe, she was impossible to like. She had no redeeming qualities. And the ending of the story could have been way more interesting than "hey kill your terrible friend, or kill the horrible town." They completely dropped the ball. Which is sad because everything leading up to that point was riveting and gear turning. So hopefully they improve their story telling skills on this next one.

Horrible town? It was a beautiful town. I'd love to settle in a place like that.

I don't see all the hate for Chloe, I actually like her as a character and I'm against Pricefield. I'm a Warren and Max ship

But I'm going to miss Max, hope the main character for Season 2 is just as amazing

The problem with Chloe, is that she's too much of a try-hard.

I'm really excited and interested to see what they do with the sequel. I just pray to God they don't play it safe by treading old ground or recapturing what made the first game great, because that will just not work and end up disappointing a lot of people. I know people have expectations and will try and think back to the first game when thinking of the sequel, they expect those same feelings, but trying to literally make a "LiS 2.0" would be a mistake, imo. I can hear the "rehash but just with less interesting characters" criticisms already.

Sequels have the danger of falling into that "more of the same" trap, but the game is called "Life Is Strange", so they have limitless opportunities to do new things and pretty much whatever the hell they want; sure, it can include the time travel aspect, but it doesn't have to be set in a high school or a quiet town etc, it can be about anyone and deal with all sorts of new issues, just with that light sci-fi aspect. Let it be it's own, self-contained greatness. To be honest, I wouldn't have minded if they never made a sequel, but now that they are, this series has the chance to be ****ing fantastic if they just think outside the box.
